Hey there, i play gta:sa on xbox and i'm on the last mission; nearly made it out of the burning building but time ran out as i was approaching the exit.

I played the ps2 version with a mate ages ago, and i was wondering...does anyone else think the xbox version is way easier than the ps2 version? E.g in flying school we took soooo long to complete that circle and land mission, whereas on xbox i completed the same thing on my first attempt! Any thoughts?

I reckon it'll take me more even more than that. :( I've had to put it aside, I'm trying to finish my NBA Live 06 season before NBA Live 07 comes out anyway.

Flite_23 wrote:i hated that, the annoying thing is, i stayed up all night and collected all the hidden packages + i had finished all the storymode missions and police, fire and just had ambulance an other stuff left to do but when i recently backed up my files to restore my computer the disk messed up on me... havnt touched the game since

Ouch...I only play GTA on PS2 but I've saved over/deleted games by accident before. I have to agree, you don't feel like playing it for a while when that happens.

As you said earlier, timing the jumps are crucial. If you f--- up on one, don't even bother finishing the mission(same applies to Umberto's first boat-racing mission). I always use the faster boat.

Oh yea, never take the fast boat... Always take the other one with the good handling, your need it much much more than speed. Plus it sucks when your nearing the end with plenty of time and with one wrong move your boat spins outta control. I learned that lesson about 45 times

No question, I thought there'd be a bit of time for recovery if you miss only one but there's no window. I remember one run in the faster boat I had the angle perfect and would've made all the jumps except I had so much speed I actually cleared the checkpoint without passing through it, thus it didn't count. I'd say I've had about the same luck with both boats at this point, the difference in speed is noticeable but with my skill in boats the better handling of the other one wasn't really apparent.

I remember messing up on it a couple of times, it's one of those missions you reload if you fail it whether you're going for perfect stats or not since it usually leaves you way out of town. Speaking of San Andreas, I've still got a long way to go. :(

That's why SA is the best GTA ever....there's so much to do. I love driving around & exploring sh!t more than the actual missions. My favorite is driving through SA at night doing drive-bys on Ballas & Vagos mfers. I know where my favorite weapons are, so I'm always heated. :)

I'd love to be even that far. I haven't even left the first island yet, save for the time I swam across to the second one and was promptly busted.

lol. man that wood be too small and short. cuz the cities in san andrea are pretty small by themselves cuz of the extra ranges and spaces that are included in the whole map. i wanna see a map based on Australia or another country :)

Los Santos is a decent size IMO. But yeah, the other 2 are tiny.

Nah, I'll be right but it's not any of the songs mentioned above.
Thanks for the help but.
That'd be cool if you could put in the Best of 2006 thread.
