I like the idea as well... I'd suggest doing away with the motion blurs, and adding more smaller stripes. Try adding some of them behind Chad and maybe alternating colors? I agree with conrad, the stripes arent smooth enough, but if you fix it up and add a little more I think it will be great.

im not sure how i would get extra stripes to fit in. but il definately try it out. I used the motion blur because there was very little effect on chad and i wanted him to stand out more, but it may look stupid once i get everything touched up. Im planning on giving the stripes the look of those userbar things, sorta like a 3d plastic cover if u get what i mean? thanks for the advice

heres the final (?) version. im not sure about the stripes but i cant seem to make them look smooth. i may loose the bevel and the sparkle, and possibly the bevel on the 85 or the Bengals logo, but im not to sure. i decided to keep the motion blur because i like the way it brings out the scan lines in the back ground.

Wow, i was really pleased with the overall look of this wall. As i said earlier, Im more into sleek looking, simplistic walls. Heres Gerald Green

Do you guys think I should keep the shadows underneath him?

PS: I cant get enough of these scanlines

Keep the shadows, if you could successfully make them more noticeable that would be even better in my books. Simple is good, but you can still add simple effects. Some contrast or colour work on Gerald could make it better. Also having the two bits of text so seperated throws things off.

PS: I don't like the scanlines. Most of the time it limits a background and removes depth. Although on a white background it doesn't do much.

i actually think the text looks nice where it is, because if i move it up much more it will look cluttered, because it will be squished with the reflection of his name. Il work on it later and upload more pics

Ok, heres a new Dwyane Wade wallpaper. At first i was gonna start again, because i couldnt think of a way to fill the gap in the top left corner, but after a while of thinking, i thought if someone is going to use this as their wallpaper, the Icons will fill that in to some extent. I set it as my wallpaper, and sure enough this pretty much solved the problem. I took what Colin said about the scanlines/white background, and just went for all white. Im pretty happy with the finished product, happy enough to make a sig and avatar from it.

I like the concept of making these without brushes. Wade wallpaper is on my desktop right now. Good job Flite_23 (Y)

Thanks, for some reason I get sick of very grungy, detailed wallpapers after a very short time if Im using them for my desktop. A reason why I prefer simple walls, especially when Im making them, is despite the look of them, they pose quite a challenge to make effectively. A font, a logo in the wrong space, a gap in the image, or the wrong colour can turn a great wallpaper into a shit one.

I Really like what you did with the text and how Dwayne is inside Wade. That looks great..I'm not liking that the picture takes up alot of the wall; that's just personal taste though and my only other complaint is the shadow; that looks a bit weird around his whole body. Other than those little complaints, everything else is fine. (Y)

Ok, I decided I wanted to (finally) try somthing with a little detail and depth. I really like the finished product, but since this is my first wallpaper that isnt simplistic, so I may be a little biased. Il figure out how good it really was after a few more detailed walls. I also liked the text inside text element so much that I used it again, with pretty much the same fonts, and I turned out really nice. Anyways, here it is... T.I.

Thanks. Just looking back at it now, it dawned on me I was listening to Live in the Sky by T.I. and the wallpaper really has the feel of that song...

I really like that Wade sig (y) If anything, it's what Peachy said, that the picture could have been better, but it's still looking good (y)

I disagree for sentimental reasons, it's by no means a bad wallpaper though.

How about making me a Lithuanian NT of soccer sig of Edgaras Jankauskas?

Here's the pic:

Lithuanina flag:

IF you do it, feel free to do it anyway you want. I just kinda got bored by my old sig, and since I kinda don't do sigs, I need someone to do it.
