Jackass number 2

Postby Doobie on Sun Sep 17, 2006 1:41 am

I know this belongs in the movies thread but I was wondering who hear is going to see this movie? I am so desperate to go see it, and even sadder I'm being a jackass and asked a girl on a date to go see that movie. Anyways it looks great, I highly disagree with what they do but it still makes me laugh. Probably going to be better then part 1. Anyone else hear like jackass?

I saw the first Jackass, and thought it was dumb. The only funny part I found was when they applied that "Hollywood" effect and all the guys all died by being blown up and run over.

Just saw a Dirty Harry movie. Clint Eastwood rocks. I was laughing throughout because of the cheesiness of an "old" movie but I also enjoyed it because of the action scenes:
- crazy woman shoots another woman, headshot. The shot was just cool.

- Clint arrives to his friend's house and sees that his friend is dead, Clint has that "I arrived too late" sad look in his face. Then he sees his friend's dog limping and bloody because the thugs messed it up, Clint has that "I'm going to deliver them personally straight to hell" look. That look was just badass and priceless because of the dog.
One could get the feeling that the badguys are definitely screwed because Clint is pissed off now. Clint gets the BIG handgun out of its case.

- Final scene:
3 badguys kidnap the crazy girl because they were next on her hit list. Clint arrives, his face hidden in a shadow. Thugs see him and one of them says "Shit!", and the thug has that facial expression as if he has seen the devil itself.
The two thugs hide towards the side. Clint walks toward them with gun in hand, while cheesy action music plays (sounds like a bad techno song). The way he walked was just mean and lethal (gave me goosebumps even with the cheesy music). It was even more badass compared to Bale's Batman!
Music abruptly ends and the 2 thugs that are hiding receive a headshot courtesy of Clint's powerful handgun (whether it's plausible or not, it was just plain cool).
Only 1 kidnapper is left holding the girl hostage, and they were in a higher area than Clint. Clint says the line - Make my day, punk.
Punk ends up with a headshot and falls to a carousel and gets impaled on a unicorn.

Makes me want to watch all the movies chronicling Dirty Harry's (Clint Eastwood) killing spree.

Its funny if you see it drunk with a whole bunch of other people.

The best parts are in the beginning with the rental car demolition derby, that was hysterical, and the fight with Butterbean.

Butterbean- Come on, at least hit me once. Knoxville hits him in the face as hard as he can, butterbean doesn't flinch and proceeds to beat the shit out of him again.

After the fight, Knoxville all fucked up and bleeding "Is Butterbean ok?"

Oh my god, hysterical.

I just watched From Dusk Til Dawn... that is one fucked up movie. It seemed quite clever and normal for the first part, then the vampires come out and it turns all stupid.

That's actually a pretty good movie. Those vampires in the movie were really creepy looking. I like when Quentin Tarantino dies  .

The black guy in the video is the same actor that portrayed Clint Eastwood's friend that was killed in the movie that I recently watched. :o

J-Art: I saw The Protector ('Tom yum goong') and it was great (y) Well, the story, acting and all of that was pretty damn bad, but the fighting scenes are top notch. That scene where he fought his way up the 4 floors in the 'restaurant' was incredible, especially since it was all done in just one take. Great martial art movie...

Saw Good Will Hunting with Matt Damon and Robin Williams last weekend. Really good movie; I'm surprised to find myself impressed with that movie, and both Damon and Williams did a terrific acting job.

that scene was awesome. that and the scene towards the end were he is breaking arms left and right. he takes out like 50 dudes and leaves all of them half dead on the floor. i have to agree that the acting was pretty bad. well tony jaa did alright but the rest of the cast was a nightmare.
