Don't quote me on this, but I do believe the water they were in was only up to his knees.

I saw some footage of Steve doing a video on stingrays and the water was very very shallow, and he was jumping on top of them and picking them up out of the water.

However, I do not know if that footage was from this film they were making or just from some previous show.

was talking to my dad (in NZ) tonight....he said it's the first time he's ever got upset about someone famous dying....he said, like or not, he was more upset by Steve Irwin dying than his own father....I was at my grandfather's funeral, so this is probably true....

my irrelevant little rant, but was a spin out for me as not many people or characters can break through my father's walls....

I remember hearing him say the word "Danger" 3 times with that accent, just makes you want to stop whatever you're doing and watch his show.

Yeah. The other day there was a story on a channel here about some people who died playing sports. All of them said they would want to die doing what they love. I bet players like Iverson or Kobe would say something like that.
