hey cklitsie, i have the same thing now that the muscle i tore is healed. i sat round for ages, but now i seem unfit in the way that i can go on and on for very long without gettin tired but my jumping is almost at the highest it has ever been, and quite alot higher than before the injury. i think i just gave my legs time to rest, and they gained strength. How tall are you?

I'm about 6'1". If it's really because of the rest, maybe I should give my legs some rest more often.

yea it probably is, i have this friend that has naturally huge hops, but he began working on his jump and stuff and it got so exhausting but he would always be sore and get injured easily. anyways eventually his legs got too tired to push himself that high, but he thought that he might of hurt his knees because they were sore aswell, and its pretty tough to tell when ur knees are "tired". so he rested them, but still ran and stuff, just didnt use as many explosive movements. about a week later he came over to my place after school, and we were just shootin round on my hoop and he said his knees felt really good and that he wanted to try dunk again (he was about 5"9 at the time, no shit) and he got all his gear on and warmed up and he went up for a dunk and made it easily. after a while i started throwing him alley oops, and while we were doin that, he went up to do a 180 off of my toss, and we were way of on the timing so he caught it just above his waist and sorta revrsed "baby" windmilled it... my hoop is slightly bent so its probably around 9ft6-8 but still its amazing what rest can do
