Online games for 3-4 players

Postby Tuomas on Thu Aug 24, 2006 7:35 pm

I have three close friends of mine and we all live in different locations and neither of us lives closer to one another than 250km. Now that all of us have good pc hardware, is there any good games to play online with 3-4 players only?
We'd prefer some fps's and other shooters, maybe even real time strategies.
Does GTA SA Multiplayer allow to play with a certain group only?

edit. oh yea, no sports games.

GTA 1, its a free download from Rockstar Games.

GTA SA MP does allow only a certain group, just add a password to your server.

Call of Duty United Offensive is a fun one too.

then Id have to say Counter Strike Source, you three or four as Counter Terrorist going against 8 terrorist bots.
Opinions are my own.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a good one. You can team up and play guys from other servers or if you have someone that knows what they're doing, you can install new maps and bots and play against the CPU. It's a FPS WW2 type game, but it's pretty simple to get into and best of all, it doesn't require super PC specs. I can run it alright with a 32 mb video card.

I have a group from Mixmakers.net that i usually play with. It's too late for me to play right now though. Get at me on aim maybe this weekend. I might be busy playing Madden though.

I love playing Call of Duty 2, great fun FPS and you can play in teams but usually there's more than just 4 on a side but i'm sure if you give it a try you will enjoy it (Y)
