I don't really want to get into all of this again because it seems everything turns into a Kobe or Lakers thread, but I highly doubt the Lakers will go 82-0 or 81-1.

If the Eisley continues to start and Ward remains as his backup, Williams probably won't get an opportunity to have a breakout season.

Those are exactly the uncertainties that make me say it ;)

The Knicks have never been really happy with either, Ward's being shopped again, and Williams has been playing very well in the summer leagues.

I guess he has a chance then. :)

I'm hoping Curry, Chandler and Crawford continue to show improvement this season. Gerald Wallace will probably be stuck at the end of the Kings' bench again. Kwame should have a good season, but if he doesn't there's no "Michael Jordan Regime" excuse to fall back on.

As division rivals of the Raptors, I hope Curry Chandler and Crawford take a few more years with their development :) For the Bulls it would be good to regain some of the glory of old though. I guess the Bulls can have the 8th seed as long as the Raps have at least the #7 ;)

no i want Raps to improve from their dissapointment and go to number 4 or 5 seed...if they could get the whole team healthy *sigh* but i like Chicago as well the pick of Hinrich and addition of Pipen just elevated the Bulls chance of going to the playoffs...

If Crawford can beat out Hinrich for the PG job, then Crawford will be a force for the Bulls.

Unlike last year, there is no competition for the starting PG. Pax has already stated that Crawford will be the starting PG.

[quote]

I hope Paxson doesn't do this... Consider Rose in there too, Rose can play either G or F, so the main 5 would either be:

Crawford/Hinrich
Rose/Hinrich
Pippen/Rose
Pippen/Marshall/Curry/Chandler/Fizer/Austin
Curry/Chandler/

There's entirely too much talent for the Bulls to work with to offer a stable starting lineup. All that playing ability will definitely cut down everybody's starts, also there is no guarantee that ANY returning player will start.

No it isn't. I thought that Ricky Davis had his breakout season last year with THE CAVS. Miles might be held back because he has Davis and Lebron and Wagner on his team, but just because he's part of a certain team doesn't mean he can't have a breakout season.

Davis just finally got the minutes to shine, he already looked good on the Hornets.

Sorry to break topic...but is there a reason that you call yourself jason kidd and you continually highlight Spurs players in your sig? Are you trying to be cute or something...because it's not...

oh yeah, i forgot speedy claxton....... wasnt he averaging 20 a game and reasonable assists with minutes in philly when iverson was out?

i think golden state did right in getting him since i'm not so keen on arenas.....too much of a hybrid pg in my mind, and those dont win games.

Liking Jason Kidd and highlighting Spurs players is like calling yourself Larry Bird and having pictures of James Worthy and Kareem in your sig. Understand?

It's not like the Nets and Spurs have a real rivalry like the Lakers and Celtics or the Knicks and Heat used to have. He happens to like Duncan and Kidd, totally understandable because they are both great players. I don't see why he can't combine that. A Nets fan like you might think it's weird, but if you see more into it it's nothing more than your own point of view.

id love to see skita have a breakout year but i see him having his year next year. he'll show flashes though. rodney white (did you see him at the end of last year? he just needs to work on his handles and defense), darius miles, and HOPEFULLY kwame brown.
