Buying a laptop

Postby weltmann on Wed Aug 23, 2006 6:29 am

Im going to buy a laptop but give me some advise...

A friend of mine is getting me a: Intel Core Duo 1,6 Ghz, 1gb DDR, 80 gb harddrive etc..... but with a Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 graphics card. Is this reasonable?? The price seems good to me but my only concern is the graphics card :? :?:

I mean if i want to work with it... and play new games for a year or so

Thanx.
wtf?

I'm going to buy a laptop too but since I'm pretty broke, I'll have to settle with something cheaper. Hopefully it can run NBA Live 07.

Actually, I just came across two Acer laptops I'd like, care to look at them and tell me which one you'd prefer? If you know something about these things...

Yes. Acer Travelmate 370 series. I've had it for nearly three years and I've gotten it re-imaged 14 times. Luckily it's free/cheap repairs through the school. I broke the screen and paid $100 to get it fixed.
