coverage sucks over here....bball coverage is terrible over here....I'd love to see some Tall Blacks' games & see Craig Bradshaw lighting it up....ahh well, I guess I'll have to wait until the Olympics....

Practically non-existent. Foxtel's website shows a couple of games on this weekend though, on Fox Sports 2.

Apparently Fox Sports will be showing some World Championship coverage starting at 7:30 PM this Saturday, if anyone's interested.

im currntly watching the NZ-Japan game. phil jones is the worst excuse for a scorer i have ever seen. NZ is a pathetic team to say the least. we have a bunch of old guys who were decent in 2002, and we just keep using them. the only bright spots are Penney and Bradshaw, even though penney is cold and bradshaw doesnt seem to knw wat "dribble the ball before you take a step" means. Casey Frank is athletic and stupid, boucher is a hustler - but hes just that, not a great defender, just a guy who will put his body on the line to save a deflected pass that wuld be new zealands ball anyways. sparky dickle is ok, paul henare is overrated, aaron olson is a good shooter, but cant do anything else, pero cameron is a fat ass with a good shot (in 2002 anyways), and tony rampton is 7 foot and probably cant dunk, seeing as he cant finish any shot within 2 feet, not to mention he looks like napolean dynamite. hell even the commentaters suck ass.........

EDIT: Simply. Amazing. Comeback. NZ came back, and in my opinion, the way they played, especially defensively, in those final 5 minutes is how they should of played thru out this tournament. I cant help but feel bad for Japan and especially the little guy igarashi (?), it was THEIR game. he was amazing, the way he plays at that speed is simply amazing. gotta beat panama tomorrow to stay alive.

Flite, I'm actually a big fan of Phill Jones....he's one of the few guys we've got who can put the ball in the hoop & get hot....he's probably more suited to a lesser role these days but the talent is thin, so he is what he is....Penney & Bradshaw are future of team, we just need more players coming through....

That was an amazing comeback from NZ, i never dreamed id be so happy to beat Japan! Seriously we were gone (20 pts in the the 1st half, 5 field goals, down by 18...i mean comon) and finally in the 4th we show some determination that we have been missing for the whole freakin thing.
Loving Penney as usual, he loves the big shots (made the clutch free throws and game winner) but PC was the man to get us over the line, he got hot just in time thank god....i really didnt wanna go out tonight.

That was a comeback of gigantic proportions considering we could not hit the backboard for 3 3/4 games and the crowd massively against us.

Just dont blow it against Panama, please....surely not.
Wish Sean Marks didnt retire :( stupid Rampton

Apparently they announced during the Australia/Lithuania game last night that we'll be getting a couple of NBA games on Fox Sports as well as ESPN this year, so we could be getting 4 or 5 games per week some weeks. (Y)

Well there's this new Fox Sports 3 thing coming, I wouldn't be surprised if they throw a couple of games on there.

That's what I was thinking too. There doesn't appear to be any confirmation on the Fox Sports website yet but since it's been mentioned a couple of times now it seems a done deal. (Y)
