REGULAR SEASON REVIEW
Matchup Review
Image
This is the enitire results for the season.

Injury Report
These are the main injuries of teams in the playoffs.
A. Munoz (CHA)-10 weeks (Hyper-extended knee)- will return May 30 (at the earliest)

The weird thing is these two players are in the same playoff series. Both players will miss the first round and maybe more.

I bet everyone one of the free agents will pull a Latrell Sprewell by demanding a max contract and screw over the team.

2006 NBA PLAYOFF PREVIEW

Image
Sorry for the small font, the teams will be featured in the code.

Code: Select all
EASTERN CONFERENCE

[ 1 ] New Jersey Nets vs. [ 8 ] Chicago Bulls

[ 2 ] Cleveland Cavaliers vs. [ 7 ] Philadelphia 76ers

[ 3 ] Miami Heat vs. [ 6 ] New York Knicks

[ 4 ] Detroit Pistons vs. [ 5 ] Charlotte Bobcats

WESTERN CONFERENCE

[ 1 ] San Antonio Spurs vs. [ 8 ] Dallas Mavericks

[ 2 ] Los Angeles Clippers vs. [ 7 ] Sacramento Kings

[ 3 ] Denver Nuggets vs. [ 6 ] Memphis Grizzlies

[ 4 ] Houston Rockets vs. [ 5 ] Phoenix Suns

There is the code for u guys to predict. 2 points for predicting winner and result, 1 point for predicting winner, 0 points for incorrectly predicting. This is a best of 7 series.

Here are my predictions....

EASTERN CONFERENCE

[ 1 ] New Jersey Nets vs. [ 8 ] Chicago Bulls
Reg. Season matchup: NJ 102-05
NLSC Watch: None
Nets win 4-2
The Nets are the best team in the league but Chicago is and up-and-coming team with good young players. However i dont see the Bulls getting more then two games as the trio of Carter, Kidd, and Jefferson will move on to round 2.

[ 2 ] Cleveland Cavaliers vs. [ 7 ] Philadelphia 76ers
Reg. Season Matchup: CLE 98-88
NLSC Watch: Cable Guy (CLE), JoshD, Snakes on a Mazz (PHI)
Cavs win 4-1
Iverson will win a game on his own against any team, but thats all he and the Sixers will get against a balanced Cavs team led by superstar LeBron James. Look for them to face the Heat in round 2.

[ 3 ] Miami Heat vs. [ 6 ] New York Knicks
Reg. Season Matchup: NYK 110-106
NLSC Watch: Keo (NYK)
Heat win 4-2
The Knicks won their matchup against the Heat this year and seem to be pretty competitive in NBA LIVE. The Miami Heat have been inconsistent all year but won their division. However, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal should be able to get by the New York Knicks, whose lack of chemistry will hurt them at this time.

[ 4 ] Detroit Pistons vs. [ 5 ] Charlotte Bobcats
Reg. Season Matchup: DET 99-86
NLSC Watch: The entire Bobcats team
Bobcats win 4-3
The Pistons have been known for their dominating defense over the years. However without Ben Wallace or Rip Hamilton they have only 3 good players. The Bobcats have many good players and even though the Pistons big 3 are stars Charlottes quickness should get them through.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

[ 1 ] San Antonio Spurs vs. [ 8 ] Dallas Mavericks
Reg. Season Matchup: SAS 100-86
NLSC Watch: The X (DAL)
Spurs win 4-1
The Spurs were on top of the West while the Mavericks struggled to be a .500 team. Look for Dirk and Terry to win one game but the balanced Spurs should advance.

[ 2 ] Los Angeles Clippers vs. [ 7 ] Sacramento Kings
Reg. Season Mathcup: SAC 94-91
NLSC Watch: Sac-1 (SAC)
Clippers win 4-1
In a series between two California teams, the Clippers have more balance led by Elton Brand and they also have an experienced Sam Cassell. The Kings are not the same team when they were up with the Lakers. Look for Elton Brand to have a big series as they go on.

[ 3 ] Denver Nuggets vs. [ 6 ] Memphis Grizzlies
Reg. Season Matchup: MEM 98-87
NLSC Watch: Anthony15 (DEN), c.b.4 (MEM)
Nuggets win 4-0
It doesn't matter who they play. The Grizzlies always find a way to get swept. Their lack of playoff experience hurts them against a Nuggets team that has a bunch of decent veterans. Look for Carmelo and the Nuggets to move on.

[ 4 ] Houston Rockets vs. [ 5 ] Phoenix Suns
Reg. Season Matchup: HOU 115-98
NLSC Watch: None
Suns win 4-3
The Rockets duo of Tracy and Yao is hard to beat, as they should dominate throughout the series. But the Suns have 5 very good starters and 3 of them are All-Star players. Look for Phoenix's small athletic lineup to move on as T-Mac struggles to find success in the playoffs.

The Kings won in the regular season so we can do it four more time. Besides, with me they are gonna rise.
