No pics but here is how I rebuilt the Knicks in 1 year (simulating all games but using dynasty point and trades)

Beginning of the Dynasty : Welcome new GM Frenchy
Frenchy 1st reaction : oh my God what a fucking roster
let's sweep it
Objective : Go to the playoff + reduce salaries to respect salary cap

First atempt to get a superstar : contact Minny to get Garnett
My proposal : Curry+ Marbury for Kevin
Minny answer : Are you kidding
Well not really, so why not Francis+Curry for Garnett

Simulated first game vs SA : What a loss 98-45 (shame on my team)
Let's check Minny answer : YES, I can't believe it they accept the trade 31st of october

So my new starting 5 (not bad)
Frye-Garnett-Jefferies-Crawford-Marbury

Let's simulate more games, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2......2-6.
Well The duo garnett+marbury is not so great.

So I make a big offer to Denver (I'am not crazy)
Garnett+Marbury for Anthony+Martin+Kleiza
And on the 11th of November : YES (bye big contracts)

On the same day I receive the result of an other trade proposal : Crawford for claxton : Atlanta says YES

My new roster for winter:
Frye-Martin-Rose-Anthony-Claxton

They are pretty good, I am back in the playoff run : 13-16

Good enough for me : nope
The trade dead line is 2 days ago, and my team is at 0.48
So I try to make a good deal and to reduce my salary cap

Martin+Kleiza+1st round06 for Murphy+Pietrus : transaction accepted, great

in parallel Denver offer Hodge for Balkman, well both are less than 1ppg so why not.

1 day to the deadline, well let's try a new deal
james+ 2nd roun06 for cardinal : transaction accepted
Go away big james and big contract

My final roster for the end of the season
C : Frye
PF : Murphy
SF : Anthony
SG : Pietrus
PG : Claxton/Nate
bench key players : Rose, Nate, Lee, Hodge, cardinal

Simulate till the end of the season: good result
5th in Eastern Conf, 41-41
Lost in 1st round 4-3 to Orlando (92-91 in game 7)

The other league results :
MVP : Garnett (Denver) ..... I know....
ROY : Roy (Port)
Champs : Houston 4-3 vs Chicago
Final MVP : TMac

Well the second year could be great coz two big contracts to be removed during FA : Jalen Rose & Malik Rose
So My team will be really young and not overpaid

Conclusion : Can I replace Isaiah ???

Well did not do a lot of thing
traded Murphy for Snow and D Jones
Re-sign Pietrus 5y 16M
sign Sow 1y minimum

The result : amazing
Regular season : 55-27 (1st in the east)
MVP : Carmelo !!
Playoff (disappointing) : lose in the 1st round vs Washington 1-4
team was really tired
the trophy stays in Texas (SA)

Conclusion : I think i'm a really good GM

For info I have simulated the third season (with no roster change)
result : Knicks are the new NBA champion (dificult first round vs Orlando 4-3; then a sweep vs the wizards, conf finals vs Chicago 4-1, and good finals vs the Suns 4-3 : well the Suns had a 0-3 lead !!)

season MVP : Lebron
Finals MVP : Pietrus (well I was surprised cause he was only 14ppg but Melo was injured during the last two games)

Maybe I am not a great GM but I am very lucky
I won the championship in 3years and the GM "Frenchy" got a French MVP
(I think I would have tried to do it, I wouldn't have been able to)
