What would hurt more; getting hit with an iron - cold, not hot - or an ironing board? And give a reason for your answer.

I say iron; it's heavier and has a pointed end.

What would hurt more: Getting crucified on a stake or lit on fire after getting gasoline poured on you?

Crucified for sure, you won't necessarily die if you get lit on fire.

Fire because there is a very slim chance you will survive. Crucified would hurt but you wont die.

On topic, I'd say fire has more pain in a shorter length of time, but overall crucifixion would hurt much much more.

Which would you rather be trapped in: A snake pit, or a pit of poisonous spiders.

At the first one, Fire for sure, it is much shorter. Crucifixion lasts for days, while Fire is going to be a horrible pain but once your insides start getting cooked you'd be toast. It'd probably only take an hour or so once it got going.
