The intention is to make it Sit's style posting, roleplays, news and that kind of things, making it like a real story. So please comments would be appreciated, both on the gramatical and writing issues (I'm Chilean so my English isn't 100% perfect), and also on the dynasty issues such as trades and stuff. I'm using todays rosters with the rookies already in the teams.

NEWSFLASH: Southamerican John Doe to be next Wolves GM

We all had heard the rumours, and yet couldn't believe when we heard it, the most unlikely of all 5 contenders to the GM spot nailed it, Alfonso Poblete is the new General Manager of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Twenty minutes ago in a press conference, CEO Rob Moor and Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin McHale, made it official, and almost inmediately Poblete was subject of numerous questions, regarding not only his basketball plans, but some where also directed to his lack of experience and even the fact of being Southamerican.
After the conference he gave us an exclusive:
Sports Insider: Well Mr. Poblete thanks on the interview. First of all tell us someting about yourself?
Alfonso Poblete: Well I'm Chilean, born in Santiago in 1966, I'm about tu turn 40, and have lived here since 1981, when I came here to play for a well known Minneapolis High School, and after graduating I went on to play for the Minnesota Gophers.
SI: Oh yeah, I remember that you had quite a good season in your Sophomore year, but then no one heard from you.
AP: I had a pretty good year averaging 18.4 PPG and 8.4 APG, but then I had a car accident, where I cut my knee ligaments, and couldn't play anymore. So I finished my major (Business Administration), and moved on to work in the private industry.
SI: Other than that HS and college experience, what othe basketball background you have?
AP: I've followed closely NBA and the T-Wolves since I got here, but for the past couple years I've been making researches and stuides for a NBA Magazine, so I know pretty much how this team works both on and off the court.
SI: Thanks a lot.
AP: You're welcome.
OK that's what we know about this guy, who is replacing Jim Stack who was GM since July 9th 2004, and retired for personal reasons. Poblete's main goal will have to be taking this crumbled team to the playoffs, and his main problem will be Kevin Garnett, who has publicly claimed that he doesn't want to stay here after his mediocre season last year (21.8 PPG, 12.7 RPG in 38.9 MPG, leading the Wolves to a 33-49 record).
INCREDIBLE: New GM Sends Garnett away in first day at work!!
We just could'n believe it, even though trade rumours have been circulating around the Wolves franchise, we as fans never thought that this day would come, N°21, "The Ticket", has been traded away to the Portland Trail Blazers in a move including other 10 players.
After two dissapointing seasons the Wolves have been thinking of change, and as we said before Garnett's name was often mentioned when broadcasters talked about the Timberwolves; but I think not only we, but half people around the world are astonished.
This trade has been definetely the biggest in this offseason and maybe will be the largest trade of the year, it rundowns like this:
The Blazers get Garnett (PF), Marko Jaric (PG/SG), Eddie Griffin (PF/C), Rashad McCants (SG), Troy Hudson (PG) and also Bracey Wright (SG/PG), while the Wolves get Zach Randolph (PF), Raef Lafrentz (C/PF) and rookies LaMarcus Aldridge (C/PF), Brandon Roy (SG) and Joel Freeland (PF).
For Poblete this trade represents the new path this team should take, by liberating a bit of salary cap and also making the squad a fairly young one.
Garnett, 8 time All-Star (7 in a row, and 2003 Game MVP) didn't make any comments as he took the flight that separated him from Minneapolis at least for a couple of months (The Blazers visit the Wolves on October 2nd. in the season opener for both teams), but Zach Randolph did, as he landed in St. Paul airport this afternoon:
"We've come here to convert this franchise to a winning one, I'm fully healed from my knee that kept me away some games, the last couple of seasons, and I'm sure that Coach Casey will count with a 100% from me". Randolph averaged 18 PPG and 8 RPG in just over 34 MPG, all career-low since he became a starter.
Rookies are also a subject now in Minneapolis with LaMarcus Aldridge (2nd Overall) averaged 15 PPG, 9.2 RPG and 2 BPG in 33.7 MPG last year as a sophomore in Texas, leading the Longhorns to the Elite Eight where they lost in a thrilling OT Classic againt the LSU Tigers. Washington native Brandon Roy (6th Overall) averaged 20.2 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 4.1 APG and 1.4 SPG in 31.7 MPG, in his senior year at Washington, and where stopped by Rudy Gay and Connecticut in the Sweet Sixteen. 18-year old Joel Freeland (30th Overall) can really be a great addition to the future. This Englishman player professionally last year in England, and no stats have been recorded for him. Finally 8-year veteran Raef Lafrentz completes the trade. Lafrentz has always been a promise for the future, but never concreted anything, he has fumbled through the Mavs and Celtics recently, and last year posted 7.8 points and 5 boards in almost 25 minutes of action per game. He is, though, a good alternative for this season, even though he has to win his place to a very hyped Aldridge.
Here are the Newcomers jerseys!
