Help needed: roster problem (manually edited dbf's)

Waz good everyone? I have a problem, and I'm hoping someone might have some insight that will help me. You guys do great work.

I'm not new to editing DB files at all but I'm trying to find a way to correct an error I made yesterday... I've been editing my own roster files and (as luck would have it) as I was finishing up I got careless and in the process of double-clicking dragged the mouse and unknowingly hit the delete on two mistakenly highlighted players in the players.dbf file. I use DBF Explorer so the changes are real-time to the files and the Undelete function wouldn't work (grayed out). DBedit doesn't open Live 05 files (I don't remember what I used to use that program for) and we all know Excel corrupts the DBs irregardless. My problem is that obviously this error threw off the balance between my players.dbf and appearance.dbf. Simply deleting the additional entries means I'll never be able to use DBF Explorer to edit the appearance.dbf file again unless I pack the file (which makes it corrupt in Live). Using Excel has the same result, so I'm stuck. Adding new entries (essentially re-adding the players deleted in the spot they were) corrupts the players.dbf at that line. I thought I'd get crafty and just bump every player up the two slots by manually editing the appearance.dbf since every player shows up in the game having the physical properties of the player 2 lines up from them in the appearance.dbf... unfortunately while this does work the game crashes in Dynasty mode right at the end of training camp so I'm stuck there as well. Any suggestions to cut these two lines out of the appearance.dbf without compromising the validity of the file?

Thanks Frenchy. I emailed the files to you... and your rosters are quite impressive, I must say. If I wasn't so far behind on pickin' up CF's (or if I'd make time to learn to make my own) I'd definitely use it but those pink heads really annoy the hell out of me.
