Sidekicks(T-mobile)

Postby Doobie on Thu Aug 03, 2006 3:30 am

Well, this weekend I am ordering the T-mobile sidekick 3 so now I can have less of an offline life. Anyways, anyone here previously owned a sidekick and is it worth it? Would anyone here get this phone? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had the sidekick 2 for about a year and it was great for the first half of the year but then I got really tired of it. It just became annoying, the size of the phone, the amount of time I used it, etc. Now, my friend got the new sidekick 3 and it's the same exact thing with a media player, MSN Messenger, and Bluetooth.

Worth a try

i have a sidekick3,its good to me, but it really depends on how you use a cell phone.

if you just chat chat chat chat chat chat chat, then no its not for you.

if your a text-a-holic, then it would be a good phone. The keyboard is really nice.

If your always chatting online on
-AIM/MSN/Yahoo Messengers,
-like to text ( its unlimited with the sidekick plan so text to your desire lol),
-think it'd be convient at times to have your email sent to your phone instead of coming online to check it all the time
-like to check the scores on the go (meaning not home and wanna know whos winning!)
-like to browse the net

then ya, it's a good phone for you, nless your anal about phone size and need everything rzar skinny. The sidekick 3 is pretty small ( and yes its smaller than the sidekick2) considering its capabilities.

they also have a forum dedicated to sidekick-a-holics so you can spam there when u browse on your phone ( ya the forum is designed to fit on the sidekick lol).. there mods seems stricter there than here tho..

oh ya, it can be a "temporary ipod replacement" in a sense you can have up to 2gig of music on it when u get a 2gig mini-SD card. Not bad..
