Pacino in Ocean's 13..

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Al-Pacino-in-Ocean-039-s-13-22193.shtml

With all eyes on him and his brand new star driven movie director Steven Soderbergh has offered Al Pacino a part in his future to be Ocean’s 11 second sequel and the actor accepted the offer. According to Ananova, a contract has been already signed.

The star becomes screen partner of the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Andy Garcia. What happened to the talks for Angelina Jolie to join Ocean’s team
is still uncertain, as the beautiful actress has retired in Namibia to give birth, but this brand new star addition to the heist movie is more than enough to draw attention to the project that is to start shooting in July and is to premiere in June 2007.

According to darkhorizons.com, “Pacino will play Willie Banks, the owner of a high-profile casino and hotel in Las Vegas”. Any other details about the movie remain well kept secrets while Warner executives and director Steven Soderbergh gather the public attention by signing in star after star. Shooting is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Al Pacino’s latest movie, 88 Minutes is soon to be released in theaters. According to imdb.com the plot is about „a college professor who, while moonlighting as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI, receives a death threat telling him that he has only 88 minutes to live. In narrowing down possible suspects, he frantically seeks to communicate with a problem student, an ex-girlfriend, and a serial killer on death row.”

I just finished watching Sione's Wedding.

It was alright at best, with a few funny parts, but nothing that made me jump.

Well i just watched Requiem for a Dream and District B-13. Both movies are good, but Requiem for a Dream is a classic. The plot of the movie is amazing, it really gives you a sense how addiction can f*k up your life. The ending is very sad, i almost shed a tear. District B-13 is a good movie as well, I just watched it for the action and music. Its a mix of Ong-Bak and Transporter. Really good french movie.

Requiem for a Dream rocks.

Saw Aeon Flux the other night, and jeez, it's horrible. Awful, awful plot, cinematography and choreography. In short, it sucks.

I just saw John Tucker Must Die, The Descent, and Talladega Nights (3 for 1). All had their moments but I give the last two an edge. The Descent really surprised me, it had me on the edge of my seat. I dont know if I am getting old or something but I cant recall ever being so antsy in my pants.

I found John Tucker Must Die, its suprisingly not bad.

Dada, I heard the Descent is so dark for the entire movie you can hardly tell what's going on, did I hear wrong?

If I hear one more person say that they saw the John Tucker Movie, I'm going to kill myself.

Ricky Bobby is funny as hell. Ricky's friend (about Ricky's wife) "Ricky, we've got great news, we're getting married! While you were gone we did some bonding and we realized how perfect we are for each other and we're going to get married!!" (Ricky) "I've been gone 3 hours!!"

Its not that bad, you get a good idea of whats going on. Lots of tight spaces but its cool, they have flashlights and flares. If you want a girl to cling to you throughout the film then thats the movie for you.

Dada, I'm hoping you're talking about your wife. :P

I saw the UK version of The Decent, and the ending is different from the US release. The movie is pretty scary, but the UK ending is pretty sad. I also saw Click, Stay Alive and MI-3. Click is funny but still not that funny, Stay Alive was a waste of money, and MI-3 is pretty good. But the best movie so far this summer has to be Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

I saw:

TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY

and

MIAMI VICE

------------------------------------------------------------------

Ricky Bobby was hillarious, I mean jsut hillarious! I thought this movie was amazing and very entertaining. Although, I did not like it as much as Clerks II, I liked it almost as much, but not quite. I would recommend this to anybody.

Miami Vice.... this movie was bad. The sex scenes slowed the movie down a whole lot, and the whole movie was talking about drugs. The onyl good parts was the shooting/action scenes.

Clerks II is the best comedy movie this year.

Tell is how the UK ending goes, we dont have much Brits here anyways.

Wed Aug 09, 2006 2:08 pm

Well if i tell you the UK ending, you will know the US ending. For the people that haven't watched The Decent and are planning to watch it: SPOLIER AHEAD!! Well in the UK ending when Sarah escapes the mountain she rushes back to the car and drives down the road and stops her car. She hears a truck coming behind her (seems the car she is in is going to get rammed), honks and goes past her car. She vomits, leaning from the car window and when she looks at the passenger seat she sees Juno (ghost). Then she wakes up seeing her daughter with a birthday cake inside the cave and the creatures are coming near her and the movie ends. So basically she never escaped from the mountain, she was just thinking the whole thing in her head. She overcame the scare of losing her daughter but the creatures coming closer and closer gives us the feeling she is going to die in the cave.

I finished watching Dirty, Big Momma's House 2 & Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

All are good movies, but I especially liked Dirty.

Big Momma's House 2 & Cheaper by the Dozen 2 were funny, but I expected more from them.
