Pretty much anything of Lupe's Food and Liquor is gold.

Now everybody's trying to get respect with their lists... I don't care if you like Eminem or 50, it doesn't matter to me but if you list them at the Top 10 all-time it's ridiculous.
If I'd had to agree on someone's list, I'd agree on Dramacydal's... but I'll make my own althought I find ranking artists and albums very difficult and unnecessary.

In order of listening preference and overall work, charisma and all:

10 : MC Eiht
09 : Notorius BIG
08 : Pete Rock & CL Smooth
07 : Wu-Tang Clan
06 : A Tribe Called Quest
05 : 2Pac (His own work)
04 : Ice-T
03 : Naughty By Nature (Counting out Iicons = w/o Kaygee)
02 : Ice Cube (Counting out War & Peace + the new LP)
01 : Redman

This list consists of artists that suit me the best and make the music I prefer playing in my room. I have not ranked the artists based on their rapping, producing or any other skills, just personal opinions and taste. So yes, Redman is my favourite artist.

That's one of the biggest points with these top 10 lists. Do people mean their personal 10 favorite rappers or the best 10 rappers of all time.

10 rappers I'm feeling right now no ordeR:
Joe Budden
T.I.
Papoose
CNN
Supastition
Rhymefest
Talib Kweli
Nas
Common
Juvenile

Yeah, they're pretty much all well-known rappers, but they're famous for a reason (good music, unlike Mike Jones). I like to listen to rappers who are about to break through or those that are kinda in between underground and MTV/BET/etc.

Rumors are floating around that Prodigy from Mobb Deep has died...I have yet to see any official sources but does anyone know if it's true?

Doobie those ne-yo tracks are great and i like the tune Time off the album too. Anyone heard Pharrell's new album its pretty cool and i like how its got a rap side to it and a R&B side, me preferring the R&B side of it. My fave track from it right now is keep it playa and number one. Another album i'm liking right now is India.Arie's new album. I don't really listen to alot of rap so i don't have a top10 list of rappers

I like Time but that song doesn't sound like it belongs in the album. It's an incredibly nice song and all, but compare it to any other song in the album other then so sick, and it doesn't sound right.

Another song I should add to my list is "Can i take you home"-Jamie Foxx. Great track.

^Don't know who made that track but gotdamn, even Duncan's so called highlights are boring, lol. Well at least he's efficient as fuck.

Anyways, the top 10 I posted earlier was meant to be the list with the ten greatest rappers of all times based on skills (passion, deepness, lyrics, wordplay, rhyming ability and flow). My personal top 10 favorite rappers list looks a bit different. I'll give it a try now.

01. 2Pac
02. Cormega
03. The Outlawz
04. Ghostface Killah
05. Mos Def
06. Common Sense
07. Talib Kweli
08. Immortal Technique
09. Tragedy Khadafi
10. Rakim

This list just represents who I like the most.

Started listening to some tunes out of Brazil recently. One guy in paritcular has been a really good listen, name is Jorge Ben. He is the guy who sang that song you hear in all the Brazil football team ads on tele. The album of discussion is titled "Samba Esquema Novo (1963)". Classic man, very nice all around and I cant begin to list any favourites because I love them all. Definitely will keep your toes tingling. (y)

The song of the day for me from that album however is "A Tamba".

...of course this changes the second I here another one.

This is recorded off an episode of how i met your mother and i really wanna find the song. Ive tried googling the lyrics, but i cant get hear them clearly so thats been ineffective..i also tried searching for music that appeared in that episode (#5) to no effect, so i was hoping maybe someone from here knows it..

its a disco/club sort of track btw..

Outkast - The Mighty O and Morris Brown - great ass songs, Outkast > all.

Kokane - Back 2 tha clap - haven't listened to it much, it's okay I suppose..

JT Tha Bigga Figga - Drop Your Thangs (Just Box) - haven't listened to it yet..

Masta Killa - Made In Brooklyn - same with above

Obie Trice - Second Rounds on Me - it's pretty good for an Obie Trice album lol.

Busta Rhymes - Big Bang - it's okay, I prefer his older stuff

Raekwon - The Davinci Code: The Vatican Mixtape Vol. 2 - decent

Kead Da Sneak - The Farm Boyz (Special Edition) - havent listened

Mobb Deep - The Infamous - Shook Ones Pt II <3 (I saw on Mixmakers a thread about Prodigy dead :? )

Bullys Wit Fullys - The Infrastructure - haven't listened

The Turf Terminators - Welcome 2 Da Turf - the rhymes are meh but the beats are okay, Turf Termination is the best song on there..

They are just some recent albums I've 'got'
