Pet peeves: In real life I'm as fucked as I am on the forums, so anything could tick me off.

Feeling Good: I feel good at a lot of stuff, I feel good when I'm with a girl I like a lot, I feel good when I jerk off, I feel good when the house is quite and I can do anything I can please. I feel good when I get tax money back. I feel good when I buy something I've wanted for a long time. I feel good when I help someone I like (yes, it's rare but it happens).

But if you'd ask me to name one thing, I'd have to say the best feeling I've had in this world is sitting in the hot sun on a white beach on a lounge chair with a cooler filled with ice cold Corona's, music in my ears and a few people doing their own things around me. Then you put off the music and you jump into the cool water and all the worries of the world seem distant. You take a dive under water, the sounds of everything sound so distant, the water is so clear, the salt burns your eyes but just being able to see those little fishes by the coral swim away because you tried to poke em is always worth it, even if it is hazy at first.

Then you come back up...and the feeling you get...the feeling of no worries...the feeling of being able to take on the world. Yes, that's the feeling I live for. That's the ultimate feeling.

God, I can't wait for December to come.

It's the Caribbean. You don't have summer/winter/fall & autumn out there. It's sunny all year. 28 Degrees Celcius most of the time. December is when I leave the coldness of Holland to embrace the warmth of the island.

Seriously, you did know that you don't have winter etc in the Caribbean, right? No where in south america for that matter do you have winter (if I'm not mistaken). A football fan like you should know that. Shame shame! :cussing:

I did live in the Caribbean (Jamaica) but I could never stand the sea breeze during the winters. I actually lived right beside a beach but it was just too chilly for my liking. I prefer going to the beach when its blazing hot and that would be around summer time I suppose.

I remember in Argentina winter wasn't as cold as it is here i Italy, the coldest there could be was around 10°C in Buenos Aires. But I remember that when I was like seven or eight years old I went to Patagonia in winter and the weather was too fucking cold, there was snow in every inch of the whole dam n region and I felt so bad because I had never experienced a winter outside Buenos Aires before.
Anyways, I think Uruguay and Chile have normal winters, maybe not as cold as here in Europe or in Northern America but surely not like Ecuador, Perù or Colombia. Those places are fucking too hot every single day of the year.

Ah, I haven't ventured that low in South America...yet. Furthest down I've been is Suriname and that get's "chilly" to about 20 C.

Curacao though, it stays between 26 and 31 Degrees Celcius. It's ALWAYS gorgeous weather. Even when it rains, the heat makes it all dry up so fast.

As I said Dada, can't wait.

Is Curacao any close to Aruba?
I've been there and...God it was perfect weather every single day. It sometimes got higher than 35°C (which I can't stand...I'm not a big fan of high temperatures) but it was still great because that sea and that beach made the high temperatures be not so high...I mean, I didn't feel like the weather was actually 35°C.

Lately my pet peeves are the following:

Filipinos who praise or cling to any global/foriegn celebrity with a drop of Filipino blood despite them not growing up in the Philippines or not knowing how to speak Filipino. (ex. Nicole from PCD, Apl from BEP (at least this one speaks Filipino) Batista, Jasmine Trias (the American Idol contestant)

Fake/Poser UFC/MMA fans who bash wrestling because it's fake and claim they're UFC fans because it's real despite them not knowing shit about UFC. They don't know any of the fighters or the fighting styles or what ground-and-pound or a mount of a guard. Hell, I don't even claim to be a hardcore UFC fan and I know more shit than they do.

Geez, there's almost too many to name, but here goes,

Peeves:
Reality Shows - bullshit networks decide its easier and cheaper for people to make their own shows. What makes it even worse is the feeble attmepts to draw in stupid viewers, by telling them that this time theres a twist you didn't see coming, and its going to be better than ever.

Changing your status to "away" on MSN - If you're away, then just fucking sign out. You're not there, no one can talk to you, or you're just pretending to be away so you don't have to talk to people you don't like.

Asian animation students - the program at my college is specifically designed for traditional drawn animation, focussing on western styles like Diseny/Pixar. To enter the program, a portfolio is required to show what you know, and the outline clearly says, "no comic book art/anime, or images of the horrific..blah blah..etc" The vast majority of asian applicants still draw everything in an anime style, get rejected, and then claim they were discriminated against, and even some go as far as to file complaints alleging racism.

People who try to get me to drink - I don't drink. I'm 19, I've never had an alcoholic drink. I see no reason to drink, i have a good time with friends no matter what I'm drinking, it could be pepsi, it couild be orange juice. Still, everyone looks at me like I'm a fucking alien when I tell them I don't drink. I tell them I have no reason to drink. I'm not depressed, I'm not stressed out, my life is fine. Still, everyone tries to get me to drink at every opportunity, to the point where even my parents have questioned it. Fuck alcohol, Pepsi is good.

People who have no idea waht they're favourite songs are about, or just generally don't care, because its a popular song and its cool to like it - I've encountered far too many people who claim to like a certain genre/artist/song, and when I ask why they like them, the answer is usually something like, "they're cool," or "its catchy." Fuck that. They have no idea what the songs are about, or in some cases, what the lyrics are. Then if you tell them, and they realize its stupid, they still try to rationalize it.

People who don't take the stickers off their hats - not a racial thing, but we all certainly can see who does this more than others, but its ridiculously stupid and to mention it to someone who does it is "disrespect."

And just a few quick ones:

People who believe the Bible was written by God.

People who don't believe in evolution.

NBA playoffs when 80% of the games are blowouts and people still claim that thay are "teh best playoffs ever!"

NBA Finals that have excessive foul calls.

Game series that barely update anything, and then advertise that something has been "completely redone" or allows you "more control than ever."

People/rappers who hate cops because they're trying to arrest them, even if they've committed numerous crimes. (see Tupac)

People who think AFI sounds like alexisonfire

People who haven't heard of Mitch Hedberg.

Wow, you're the first person I know that hasn't ever drink alcohol (excluding kids under twelve). You must have a wonderful life.
I mean...I don't like alcohol, I don't like how it tastes, but I'm five years younger than you and I still drink alcohol when I feel bad/I'm depressed, just so I fall asleep and I don't remember anything. And no...I'm not emo.
I think almost everyone drink when has something to forget/feels bad/is depressed.

Pepsi is good

I think I just realize that there are millions of people all over the world who have it a hundred tmes worse.

Actually most emos/goths I know always say that they don't drink or take drugs (usually mark their hands with an "X"). I guess its just one more way to be a "non-conformist."

It really doesn't matter. If you're in a restaurant, and they only serve Pepsi, you're not going to say, "Well then fuck you!!! I'm going next door to eat at 'Buckets of Shit.' Yeah the food sucks, but at least they serve Coke!!!'

(sorry Lewis Black, I had to steal that one from you)

I've heard that drinking laws in North Carolina are very strong (term please if anyone understood). Is that true?

Is Curacao any close to Aruba?

Yeps, the three islands are really close to eachother, the ABC Islands. Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao. Curacao being the largest, followed by Aruba and then Bonaire. If you're in good condition, you could swim to the neighbouring islands. You can even see Bonaire from Curacao.

You'd be shot down within minutes of your first encounter with someone. (Unless you keep quiet.) Then it'd take around 15 minutes.

pp: When I look at other people and they're all the same way. They look simlar, they talk similar, they like the same things... I hate people with no personality.

feels good: When I'm on a basketball court or when I'm on my hydromassage shower... I love it... mmm...

Why would you be shot, Jackalberry?

It looks awesome there. I love places like that so much. Luckily, we have something similar like this at the top of Australia. I won't get shot there either.
