Tutanchamon's Hornets Dynasty

Fri Jul 21, 2006 6:34 pm

After half a year I came back to NBA, because I wanted to play online with friends and by the way I started a dynasty. I updated rosters and took Hornets, because they are one of my favourite teams. I hope I won't bore you to death.

Dynasty settings:
Games: 29
Quarter length: 4 minutes
CPU Level: All-star (but I hope I'll get into superstar in short time)
Sim quater: 5 minutes
Playoffs: 7-7-7-7
I didn't change sliders, I just increased fatigue from 0 to 50 and CPU substitutions.

After few trades my team looks like that:
C - Al Jefferson
PF - P.J. Brown
SF - Desmond Mason
SG - Ben Gordon
PG - Chris Paul
--
C - Marc Jackson
PF - Sean May
SF - Rasual Butler
SG - Kirk Snyder
PG - Damon Jones
and some other folks, who I've never played.

---------------
Phoenix Suns (0-0) vs New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets (1-1) 65:73
It was a very good game for Al Jefferson, which I traded, cause I knew him from my old Blazers dynasty. He got 11 points, 4 rebounds and 8 blocks, so he was the player of the game
Game summary

Some screencaps:
Desmond Mason's dunk
Ben Gordon's 3-pointer attempt
Al Jefferson's huge dunk

This time I traded for P.J. Brown and Sean May for Mehmet Okur and Robert Whaley from Utah Jazz, so it's:

C - Mehmet Okur
PF - Al Jefferson
SF - Desmond Mason
SG - Ben Gordon
PG - Chris Paul

New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets (2-1) vs Washington Wizards (2-2) 94-87 OT
On 18th November 2005 Hornets played very hard game with Washington Wizards. It had to be great debut for Mehmet Okur, but it wasn't. He scored only 4 points, 2 rebounds and got fouled out in early 4th quarter. The Hornets led by 3 and they almost won in regular time, but the Gilbert Arenas' buzzer-beater disturbed them. But in overtime Hornets were unbeatable and finally won 94-87, which was mostly merit of Chris Paul, who made 10 free throws in a row.
