Playing alongside Kobe - THE DYNASTY [All Star Weekend]

Postby double_g on Sun Jul 16, 2006 5:13 am

Hey guys! I'm back finally I'm able to start a new dynasty and play NBA Live! I hope that this time my dynasty longer and finish it when NBA Live 07 is in store  As you probably figure it out I'll be playing with the Lakers! I'll start from 2005-2006 season and I don't think I'll use the patch that puts the real 2006 Draftees in the game. I hope you enjoy this one:

Roster: NLSC v1.08
Level: Superstar
Sliders: Andrew's v1.0

More about the dynasty tomorrow when I'll post my 1st update

Why dont you use the NBA regular season number of games? 82. Its more realistic for me.

Yes but it depends on how much you plan to play in one day. If its like 3 games a day then it shouldnt be real long for the whole season (not including post season)

But anyways yeah good luck on your dynasty double g

Hey, finally back, good luck with this one.

29 games works better if you want to keep it realistic and play at least 9 mins a quarter. Because you cannot play 3 games a 9 mins a quarter.

Thanks all for your comments. (Y)

@K0beStar: as cwebbiverson said it will take me too long. Yeah I know it would be more realistic but i don't think I'll have the time to play 3 games a day :(

@hova-: thanks man glad to be back  and yeah I want to keep it realistic but I guess i'll play 12 minutes a quarter with the sliders turned down a bit more to have realistic stats. And what the hell I want to play Kobe at the level of 2005-2006 season :) But this does not mean that I'll score only with him of course I'll try to keep a sort of balance

Thanks man (Y) . At last my 1st update is ready :) It took me a while but I want to make it as pretty as possible  Enjoy! And if you have any thoughts about improving it just post it. I'll take it into consideration. It's my 1st one and it will probably suffer some changes as the season goes on

I like the template, even if it isn't very fancy its a lot better than what most people can do. So this means that you're starting from the 05/05 season? Why don't you download the 06 draft class installer, I'm sure you'll have a lot more fun starting the 06/07 season than re-doing everything all over again.

Hey really good I like it. As asdf said not so fancy, but a very good read and interesting stuff. Hope you are still following my Knicks, since you were a Knick ;)

@Its_asdf: thanks well as I said I'll try to improve as the season will go on. And nah I've decided to start a clasic 05-06 season probably without any draft patch just with the rookie created by the game (to make scouting really interesting).

@hova-: thanks (Y) and don't worry your dynasty in one of the few ones that i followed since my Knicks Dynasty crashed and I can say i'm up to date to what's happening in your dynasty. I'll try to post more replies (Y)

@Jing: yeah in fact they are a bit small. I'm not really satisfied of my in-game pictures either. I'll try to improve that for sure

P.S. From now I'll do monthly updates (game time). Since I only have one game in November it won't take me long, probably a day or 2

Oh yeah, cool training camp. I like that Von Wafer improved so much .. but I think he probably wont get enough minutes with Kobe right there, maybe he can be the backup for Smush, since most of your plays are initiated by Kobe, so you dont need a pass 1st guard at all.

The Bucks are strong, but I think you will make it, Kobe for 40+ vs Redd ;) Good Luck !

Thanks all for the wonderful comments! I'm glad you like it and hope you continue reading my magazines (Y)

@hova-: yeah i was impressed by what Von Wafer could do also 8-) And the fact that he improved so much in the training camp is something (about 5 or 6 points). Yeah I'm guessing he will be the back-up for Kobe and Smush.

I liked the article that focused on Wafer, Outlaw and Bynum. Hopefully all three of them can log some substantial minutes off the bench.

Maybe you could try making each page it's own image and not 2 pages on 1 image, so that they won't automatically be resized by the forum.

Looking pretty good here. (Y)
