Nothing to be ashamed of, the first dunk was really good with a 49 but even if you got 50 on the second one, the other dudes were still better. You were just outdunked by the some of the best in the league..

Well gj Smith, well done (y)

Yeah Smith did well and i sucked.

what annoys the shit out of me is that Howard literally wins the award in everyone's dynasty... i hate that bastard. he can go and kiss his rim all he wants. sleep with it too.. he probably does.

Thats cuz Howard is like better then any other soph. So he pwns and wins it. Your 6.6 PPG comes from those simulations, where u pwned.

Duh.....i will be back next year.
Sac-1 wrote:Tough luck missing the second dunk. There is always next season, how did you make it in the first place? What did you put your height at? Atleast someone deserving won.

6'5". IRL im 5'7" with shoes on. My dunk rating ingame is 80.
Its_asdf wrote:Man, you're like the Allan Houston of that competition back he was in it during the early 90s. Didn't you know that white men can't jump?

of course they cant. so what, brent barry pwned that one year, why can't I?

Carter victorious
Carter is more than a dunker

Round 1 Results | Round 2 Results

Image
Carter was simply dominant

Houston, Feb. 18 (Ticker) -- The players showed up today. Everyone had at least 14 points or higher, and 6 players had over 20. 3 players were tied with 22 (Mark Moore, Mo Peterson, Damon Stoudamire), but Vince Carter and Ray Allen were the 2 going into the final, with 26 and 27 respectively (breaking the record for points in a shootout). However, Allen ran out of gas when the Final round came, and Carter had 24 in that round to gain victory. Carter has seemed to dominate All-Star Weekend, with a 2000 Slam Dunk Contest Champion and a 2006 3 point Shootout champion. All he needs to do now is win the All-Star Game MVP (where he is a reserve), and win an NBA championship.

Mark was impressive but came up short
MoPete hit every basket in the first rack
Gordon was impressive but 24 wasnt enough
Billups was in last place
Carter was very good in the first round
Battier had a funky looking shot and was 2nd to last
Allen had 27 out of 30 possible points in Round 1
Stoudamire put on a show with 22 but couldnt quite get enough
Carter had almost as big of a performance as the 1st round with 24 in the Final round
This miss officially gave Carter the title

i'm impressed! how could u loose the 3-p champ?? and u know the best combo how to win slam dunk champ? in firstround i make 2 jordan's dunks - 1handed and 2 handed! both are the perfect, just start jumping from freethrow line! 2round - 1st - hangs on the rim, all hand must be in the rim! or u can make "between yourself" like JR Smith! that'll give a pretty nice score! and the culmination of the night !!!ATTENTION!!! between the two legs! it's for sure 50! even 60 :) (supstar trigger+ shot, than shot again)! and u've got the trophy!
only god can judge me

Houston February 19 (Ticker) -- The Eastern All-Stars were better today. Shaq showed flashes of his old self with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks. The game was a high-scoring contest, with teams making all kinds of shots. Chris Paul was the best player for the West with 26 points and 5 assists, and he could be one of the best players for years to come. Also everyone got solid minutes so no fatigued players were on the floor. This might be the last time Shaq gets to dominate everyone else as he is showing his age sometimes. Now with ASW over, the Bobcats will face Will Sit, Flo Ruf, and the Wizards in their next game.

Mark hits the game-winner

Charlotte February 25 (Ticker) -- This one was a great game from the start. It featured NLSC ballas Will Sit and Flo Ruf who were against the All-NLSC Bobcats team. There was hype in this one, and the teams lived up to it. Throughout the first half the teams simply played defense while each got there own runs. It was 49-48 after the 2nd quarter. However, Bernie Bickerstaff got the team rolling in the locker room. "We gotta score more, and hold there defense," he said. "We only have 7 more games after this, so this one could be important." The team was on fire throughout the 3rd, and they lead 77-70 going into the 4th. But the Wizards came back, quieting the crowd despite CK dishing out his 10th assist in the quarter. As the game was coming to a close, Will Sit looked for a good shot. Being locked down by Robert Skrnjug, his shot hit off the front rim, which led to an overtime. In the overtime, it looked as if the game was over, as the Bobcats took a 114-108 lead, and Caron Butler being fouled out. However, the Wizards came roaring back. Flo Ruf got fouled by Nick Barnshaw at the 3 point line, and Flo made 2 of 3. The Bobcats went down the floor but Mark missed a shot while trying to kill time. Flo Ruf went right down the floor and drained a 3 in Jing Xu's face. But Jing smartly passed the ball to Mark on the inbounds pass. Mark was fouled, and he went to the line and calmly sunk 2 clutch free throws. The Wizards called timeout. Bernie Bickerstaff put in his biggest players. However, Gilbert Arenas drived to the basket and 1, and had a chance to tie the game. Arenas sinked the free throw, and Bickerstaff used his final timeout. Barnshaw looked to run out the clock, and then he passed it to Mark. Mark was looking for some room but couldnt find any. He passes it to Skrnjug, who immediately gets doubled by Sit and Arenas. Jugs passes it back to Mark, who calmly makes the 3-pointer at the buzzer. As you can see on the replay, Mark clearly lets go of the ball in time. In the next game, the Bobcats will have to have some more magic when they face the San Antonio Spurs.
