Fruity Loops help

Postby Silas on Thu Jul 13, 2006 2:58 pm

I need help with the Fruity Loops program. I know some you here use it. I cant make a song that goes over 12 seconds. If any of you know how to make a full length song, or can let me know where tutorials are that have full length songs, let me know.

thanks,

The program is not as tasty as it sounds is it. I think i remember having the same problem (It's been years since i've used it). But i'm pretty sure it would have something to do with bars.

I know you can extend it with the little thing up in the left corner but it never goes past 12 seconds of music. I know Hammertime is good with it, maybe he can help.

I have the producer edition. I can save and all that stuff, I just cant go over 12 seconds. All the tutorials I try to find on it all cost money to download or view though.

I want to make a full length song, not a 12 second beat that repeats over and over again.

If I recall (which I don't!) the 12 second thing is just one pattern... find something like the song editor or something, and then you actually choose the order of patterns, you can have tons of different ones and you map them out... that way you can map out a song of infinite length.

Yeah, I don't remember the exact name of the tool, but it lets you map out the order of pattern placement. It's basically how you define a song.
