It's "tomorrow" but anyway the album is the real deal, I'm gonna pick that up (except Brand New cause Kanye's ghey, then again that other song with him on there is kinda nice).

This is a little of topic, but I gotta say that for me the best albut of all time is Gangstarr "moment of truth". I mean every song is just great, way off and incredible. I'm listening to it for about a month non-stop. Even though it's old, it's da best. (Y) (Y) (Y)

What's been happening people, haven't been on NLSC for a couple weeks. Good to see the rap thread still poppin

hova- wrote:In my opinion these Mcees are the only future of non-gangsta rap .. conscious rap is just the real thing for me .... Lupe Fiasco has some tracks were he reaches this conscious style a bit imo ... but there aint many other and the whole rap game is just dominated by gangstas and wannabe gangstas ..

About Mos I have to say he is cool, but for me personally, he is not in the same category like Talib or Common, but I like his innovative style.

Non gangsta rap artists have been around for ages man, you can't say these 3 (there are hundreds of concsious artists out there as well, not just these three) rappers are going to lead hip hop into a different direction. Especially considering, Mos Def's last album was basically a rock album.
Kweli has fallen off quite considerably since Quality, Reflection Eternal & Blackstar.
Common already has around 6 solo's out and has been in the game since the early 90's. Doubt he'll be around for a whole lot longer.

Oh yeh Mos ain't in the same category as Talib & Common.

He's better.

Not sure man, it ain't on the new album tho.

And whoever said Bullet is hot, he's definetely right..one of my favourite tracks of the year.

No doubt, C-Rayz is nice with it...check out the album he released last year (unless u got it already)
Play the game, win the fight!

I usually hate Collipark but this one's not bad.

Haddaway - Life (Everybody Needs Somebody To Love)

I guess 'What Is Love' wasn't his only hot song.
