HINRICH GOES OFF IN 3 POINT SHOOTOUT AND TAKES IT BY STORM

Image

HOUSTON, TX (AP) - With a field full of young competitors, Kirk Hinrich had a mission: OPPERATION 3 POINT. Kirk Hinrich was the 1st person up in the 3 Point Shootout. At the begining of his 1st Round, it looked like Kirk hinrich was open for business draining the first 2 racks. Then he missed 3 straight on the next rack before making the other regular ball followed by missing the 3rd Money Ball.

THen Kirk lit up on the last 2 racks draing every ball even the Money Balls to give him a total 25 points. Now all he could do is wait and watch and see where thigs shook out. After watching big shooters like Chauncey Billups, Baron Davis, and Vladimir Radmonovic, Kirk Hinrich still remained on top. In the Finals he would face Baron Davis. When it came to the Finals,Baron Davis went first because he had the lowest score of the two that made it to the Finals. He shot an amazing 29 Points. Now Kirk Hinrich had to shoot a Perfect Round to win the 3 Point Shootout. He started out nailing 3 Pointer after 3 Pointer. He had hit all the shots when he came to the final rack of basketballs. He started shooting. Ball #1-Good............... Ball #2-Good............... Ball #3-Good............... Ball #4-Good............... Now came the Money Ball. Kirk was limited on time so he quickly fired it off. The Competition deciding shot was on its way. It hit the far side bouncing up quickly. It was so quite you could hear a pin drop and then the ball began its decnt going quicker and quicker down towards the hoop and all that was heard was a very pretty SWISH! Kirk Hinrich had just shot a perfect round to give him the NBA 3 Point Competiton Championship.
