Nopes, you're totally at mercy of the DVD Rip.
You could also just wait for complete rips, they are usually the dvd with menu's, the video is usually untouched, the second 5.1 surround option is stripped as well as the extra's.
Leaving you with 100% film quality, a menu that works and almost all subtitles.
Btw, these are usually around 4.7GB, so getting them takes longer but it's worth it in my opinion.
