NBA 2k7 release September 2006

Postby shobe81 on Fri Jul 07, 2006 6:34 pm

NBA 2k7 set to release for September 2006, comes before NBA Live 07, people who have experienced live 06 and 2k6 are on the side to get 2k7 which mean 2k7 will sell more IMO.

I cant wait! :P Already have live 06, will get 2k7 and maybe also live 07, but they all depend on the ratings.

Why not just order it in Sept. for console and pay more to have it shipped? Cant be more than 10-20 bucks to have it shipped and thats probably worth it to have it 4 months earlier.

Yea sorry my mistake, after my post I found out that both 07 and 2k7 come out in Sep.

Japan gets most games sooner then a lot of other countries, Australia for some reason gets them late, I mean whats the point of it because 6 later a new one will come out after January. Maybe you can oder it from USA or Japan and get it shiped to Australia though it will cost decent for shiping alone.

because we have PAL console over here that play PAL region games....US games are NTSC....unless we buy a US console (no point just for one game, as tempting as it might be to get college 2k series as well) to play it or mod our consoles (would only do it to play NTSC titles, but can't do that at the moment as far as I know for 360) then we are out of luck....

I see. I knew they had different formats for DVD's but I thought consoles were all the same. Its a shame they have regional formats.

If you get it 'chipped' / 'modded' etc, you can play NTSC and PAL.

Yeah, if you get China to Australia power cord convertor thingies. But Australian games wouldn't work on it, unless they PAL their shit.

Hopefully both games will have a roster cut off date of mid-September instead of Live's August.

that doesn't explain why we wait months to get it....if it weren't region coded, surely we would get it quicker....but considering the game is getting more popular, maybe we'll get it quicker in future *fingers crossed*

I just wanna be able to play college hoops 2k7 & nba 2k7 simultaneously :(

yep, I'd say that should work, provided you got an NTSC mod chip....but I haven't tried it so I don't know 100%, but it should work....

Okay well here's some more info on 2k7, I just put it in here cause this is the most recent 2k7 thread. Here's a link, http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?cook ... Fid=281624 , notice the price is only 29.99 :D

* My NBA: Plays more like the real NBA than ever before with new player and team tendencies, updated camera perspectives and new animations.

* Real NBA Coaching: Take control of the floor with improved coach settings, new team playbooks and on-the-fly substitutions.

* 2K7 Soundtrack: Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, E-40, Jurassic 5 and many others.

* New Passing Control: Innovative new system allows pass fakes, post passes and other ways to hit the open man.

* The Association: Take total control of the deepest franchise mode in the business now with multiple team franchise, 3 team trading, progressive fatigue and season awards.

I think most of the stuff has been posted, I'm really looking forward to 3 team trading and progressive fatigue. I've never played a multiple team franchise (even on Madden), but that sounds cool.
