Opening night rosters

Hello all

I have uploaded the new roster (opening night roster)

As I still do not have the internet at home (f..... T-Online : 3 month without the net) I have missed the lastest transaction (Good bye Jalen Rose) and some players need to have their number corrected.
But I have added some CF and a surprise (I let you find it)

so here is my unfinished roster (as you are very good I let you update the stuff)

Be carefull you need the others CF&Portraits released earlier in order to avoid beautiful pink heads :lol:

Like I said somewhere else you need the .ebo files that have the B in them
There should be 3 or 4 depending if they need a special hair file
Since you don't have them we can't add goggles or headbands
Also some players don't have a good headshape (as you can see all the players in the preview look like they have the same headshape)
Here are the rookies 1st and 2nd round from 06 and some of the undrafted rookies including mike gansey, kevin pittsnoggle, Allan Ray, etc.

hey Rsox how come wen i downloaded ur cyberfaces and put them in my game, when i went to check the faces in edit player it was fine with shawne williams, farmar, and a few others and then crashed with rudy gay, shelden williams, etc.?

Those were for 06, but I posted them for French2k3 because I thought that he was converting them. Sorry about that. If you would like to help convert them with me and maybe French2k3 pm me.

i would but i am currently finishing off my own lil project for new player potraits for alot of guys without them. wat exactly is involved in the process i culd help here and there

You take the first round I'll take the second round and we'll use the headshape from 2005 that look like the rookies so the headbands and goggles show up.
Example: Let's just say Marcus Williams has Rafer Alston's headshape. You take the mcwilli.fsh in my download I posted. Take the raalstoB.ebo, raalstoB_headband.ebo, and raalstoB_goggle.ebo files and rename it to match the fsh file. The end should be mcwilliB.ebo, mcwilliB_headband.ebo, and mcwilliB_goggle.ebo.

Don't forget that players with hair will need a *******B_hair.ebo. (Example Adam Morrison)

Use EA Graphics Editor v1.0.4b to extract the .ebo files for headbands, goggles, and hair if needed from the plyrgrb.VIV file found in the sgsm/players folder. The headshape files can be found in the plyrlodb.VIV file found in the sgsm/players folder.

Or you could just post headshape and the players hair who you think I should use and I will get all the files.

my question = is this an example of a completed rookie...

mcwilli.fsh, mcwilliB_headband.ebo, mcwilli_goggle.ebo, mcwilli.ebo?

or do i also need the files like mcwilliC_headband.ebo? is it just the "B" files or "B,C and D"? :?:

And also... if a player is white and i choose a black players headshape it will not affect the skin on the rest of the body will it?

you take the folder that says "roster07" or wateva and put into ur nbal live SAVES folder, then u open each folder inside the "rookies" folder and place each file into the Program files/EA Sports/NBA LIVE 2005/SGSM folder

yea if u want me to il keep updating mine and il email u it... by the way RSox and i are working on the new faces for the rookies and im just about finished finding matches for the frst round rookies so dnt worry about the rookies that r in ur game now lookin all sorta "default"

This is a completed rookie. Some people use the C and D ebo files, but I figured out that they don't make a difference on how the anything looks. If a player is white and you use a black player's headshape, the color will not be affected because the color of the face and neck are in the fsh file and the rest of the body is in the appearance.dbf An example is that you could use Rafer Alston's headshape for JJ Redick's and he will still be all white.

Make sure the 7 letters you are renaming it match the fsh file. The reason I am saying this is because Marcus Williams is mcwilli instead of mawilli. Sheldon Williams and Shawne Williams would have the same 7 letters. Denham Brown and Dee Brown would have the same 7 letters.

Don't forget the hair for some people. Only add a hair if there is a hair file in the folder with the files for 06.

When you put everything in a new folder to pm to me or send to HSauce11@Yahoo.com, put the portrait files in it. Send me them when you are done, and I'll see to make sure everything works correctly.

Once we get the faces finished I will take a look at the roster and see if I can see why it is crashing

By the way, I don't have a cyberface or portrait for Cheik Samb, Ejike Ugboaja, Edin Bavcic, Loukas Mavrokefalidis, or Danilo Pinnock. It's not a big deal because everyone but Danilo Pinnock will probably stay overseas, and he was the 58th pick.

Flite_23, send me them when you are done and you could do some of the undrafted players if you want.

Hey,

It's been awhile since I've used a patch for NBA live but I dloaded your roster and it ran for a bit, but then crashed to desktop. (right as a replay was showing Sean May fouling a player. May has a pink head, so that may be it.)

Also, I have tons of pink heads. Mostly on rookies and 2nd year guys.

Could you include the cyberfaces that are needed in your next update so it will run correctly? (Like in MVP 05 when people make mods/patches they include any required files that they used so that the file runs perfectly.) It's impossible to know which files we need that you used.

Also, could you include a "readme.txt" file for instructions to install. This helps a lot with so many different patches out there.

I try to modify the roster and it is getting worst, it crashes when you load it.
I do not know but the pb could come from the number of players added to the database.
