MONTH #5
Still hasn't been called upto the Paris Under 18's team, but made a huge impact in his second international appearance for Cambodia Under 21's. Playing against a strong Indonesian side, #12 destroyed them down the right flanks, setting up a goal and nearly scoring a few times himself. Cambodia ran out as shock 2-0 winners. As young as #12 is, he is probably the best Cambodian player outside of the main squad, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him called upto the main team once he's old enough to play for them.

Despite a strong performance against Liverpool Reserves, Andreas was controversially left out of the Newcastle United squad for the match against Manchester United Reserves. Without his imposing presence leading the defensive line, Newcastle faltered and were overrun 3-1. Fortunately, Andreas was called back into the team to play against Leicester, where he failed to impress and seemed a step too slow throughout the entire game. Despite this, Dahl received a call-up to the Sweden Under 21's side for their Euro Under 21 Championship qualifying campaign. Having won their group, the Swedes came up against a strong French team, boasting players like Hatem Ben Arfa, Arsenal star Gael Clichy and new AC Milan signing Yohan Gourcuff. Losing the first game 2-1, Dahl was rushed into the side to add some strength to the defensive line. Despite having his best game of the month, France overran the Swedish side and ran out 3-1 winners, going through 5-2 on aggregate. Andreas returned to Newcastle to play in the fixture against Bolton Reserves, and showing obvious signs of fatigue was substituted before half time.

Bang's meteoric rise in Brazil has been stunted somewhat recently. His spot in the Sao Paulo Under 20's was once completely solidified, but with the arrival of Brazilian phenom Carlos Santos, Bang has found himself named on the bench as the first defensive reserve in recent times. With limited opportunities to impress, Bang was called into the starting line-up when Leonardo went down with a shoulder injury in training. Coming up against an impressive Vasco Under 20's side, Bang lacked match fitness and was one step behind the pace throughout the game. He did manage to make another surreal amount of tackles, but this wasn't enough to prevent the man he was assigned to mark, Vinicius, score two goals to put the game away 2-1.

In an effort to impress the coaching staff at AC Milan, cwebbiverson has taken it upon himself to learn Italian. Despite this, he's still yet to make an appearance but is showing obvious signs of improvement in training.
For the first time this season, Dadinha retained his starting spot in the Sevilla Under 18's side for the entire month as a reward for his off field commitments. Playing against Almeria, it took Dadinha only 15 minutes to confirm the coaching staff's faith in him by scoring on a fantastic solo effort as the team went on to win 2-1. Playing in the Under 18's Cup 3rd round against Getafe, Dadinha failed to impress during regular time and couldn't get on the scorers list despite the game ending a 3-3 draw. It wasn't until the penalty shootout that the young Brazilian stood up to be counted, where Dadinha nailed the first penalty that eventually sent Sevilla on their way to a Quarter Final showdown with an extremely strong Deportivo Under 18's. Wrapping up the month against Cadiz in the league, Sevilla ran over the top of their opponents and with five minutes left, Dadinha put the icing on the cake with a well taken header from a Acejo corner to confirm a 3-1 win and also secure outright first place in the Spanish Under 18's Group 2 league.

Dean still hasn't recovered in the eyes of the coaching staff after his capitulation in his debut match for United, yet to make another appearance in the team. With Jonathan Evans now listed for loan by the club, it's possible Dean could find his way onto the substitutes bench at least in the near future.

Seemingly a fixture on the Real Madrid C bench now, Drex has played another two games for Real's developmental side with mixed results. C.D. Imperio were supposed to prove a tough assignment for the Real youngsters, with most of their players being in their late 20's. Drex showed signs of a young Roberto Carlos with his ventures down the left hand side of the field, and despite his somewhat fiery temper took all of the cheap shots aimed at him by the Imperio players who obviously struggled to contain him. With a 2-0 win under their belts, Real Madrid C were full of confidence heading into the next match against an organized friendly with fierce rivals Barcelona C. The game was a closely fought contest throughout, and an afternoon of having to prevent attacks from players like Urbano, Sito Riera and Mexican megastar in the making Giovanni Dos Santos, Drex completely lost his cool, crunching Dos Santos in a violent tackle and being sent off immediately for it. As a result, Dos Santos is out for three weeks with an ankle injury and Real lost on the subsequent free kick, 1-0.

Jing continued his Arsenal career as a double agent, being recalled to the Reserves team as they made a mid-season push to the top of the table. The decision paid off big time, as Arsenal incredibly won all four games in the month with Jing in the side, only conceded one goal and leaped from 6th place up to 2nd. Jing turnt in two usual solid performances against Birmingham and Charlton Reserves, his tough tackling leading the Gunners to 2-1 and 1-0 wins respectively. Against Charlton Jing yet again took control of the game and demoralized his opponents in the midfield. His dominance allowed the rest of the team to do basically whatever they wanted on their way to a 2-0 win, which lead right into the last match of the month only two days later against West Ham Reserves. Having played so many games in such a short period of time, Jing was exhausted and struggled for most of the game. Despite this, the team appeared to lift and recorded their biggest win of the season 3-0.

Quite possibly the strangest career path out of all NLSC players so far, Jugs still remains on the outer at Ajax, not even being able to get into the team when no less than three midfielders ahead of Jugs went down with injury. Despite this, he remains a mainstay in the Croatian Under 19's squad. Suiting up for his fourth cap against Portugal Under 19's, Jugs again put in a decent enough performance but really had problems getting by Porto defender Joao Dias and the team went down 2-0, as was probably expected. With national pride on the line against a weaker Singapore Under 21's, Jugs once again retained his place in the starting eleven, beating out the more heralded Aleksandar Ruzanovic. In what was finally a vastly impressive performance the Croatians managed to steamroll Singapore 3-0 thanks to a hat trick from Nikola Dragovich. Jugs however was average yet again, and it remains to be seen how much longer he can keep his place in the starting line-up with these performances.

Nick's career at the moment could probably not get any better. Coming up against AC Milan Under 20's for Roma Under 20's was always going to be a difficult task, as the two rivals are both stacked with talent from top to bottom. In a closely fought affair, it was Milan who broke the drought and held on to win 1-0. The match was virtually recreated against Lazio Under 20's, and yet again it was the opposition who pulled out a late goal for a 1-1 win. Despite the two losses, Nick was yet again a solid contributor and as a reward was called up to represent Australia's Under 19 team in two friendly matches. Against North Korea the Aussies fought hard, and of all people it was the debutant Nick who scored the winning goal after coming in off the bench. Backing up against Andorra, the Australians were widely tipped to win the match quite easily and it looked to be heading that way after Nick set up Tolgay Ozbey to score the opening goal. Shockingly, Andorra roared back and after two quick goals took the game 2-1, much to the embarrassment of everybody.

Released from the living hell that was Villarreal, Peachy has been on the lookout for a new team for the past month. With the transfer window not opening until January, he may not find one just yet but there are rumors a number of A-League teams have shown an interest.
Injury has plagued sdude's month, a groin strain has kept him out of two games for the Estonian Under 19's, and also a number of key matches for Atletico Under 18's.

Despite never having played a game for Inter Under 20's, in a strange turn of events a number of clubs showed an interest in signing the youngster. Livorno, Celta and Shakhtar all made enquiries but they were swiftly turnt away by Internazionale, showing a great deal of faith in the midfielder.
In the biggest match of the entire season for The X, his Rangers Reserves team squared off against Celtic Reserves. With tempers at a peak, and the biggest reserve team crowd you'll ever see, Celtic got on the board early through a Shaun Maloney strike. Determined not to let anything happen down his flank, The X constantly repelled the attacks of promising Celtic midfielder Ross Harris. With 20 minutes left in the match, Rangers made the breakthrough they were waiting for when Marc Kalenga struck from long range. Four minutes of regular time to go, and for the first time in the match Ross Harris gets past The X and puts in a dangerous cross which was dealt with well by Marvin Andrews. Despite his solid performance, The X was controversially substituted out of the match by Andy Watson for that one error. A huge argument erupted on the sideline between the two, and only stopped when Chris Burke struck an injury time winner for Rangers to send the players and fans into raptures. As a punishment, The X was fined a week’s wages and relegated to the bench for the 1-0 loss to Dunfermline.

With Jing getting most of the plaudits for the Arsenal Reserves fantastic run of late, it may be the presence of Thierry that is the driving force behind their play. After a shaky start to the month in a game against Birmingham, Thierry has since come into his own and is gaining some notoriety as the Gunners super-sub. Against Southampton he grabbed the only goal of the game in the 23rd minute, and immediately backed it up with another goal against Charlton in their 2-0 win. Despite going scoreless against West Ham, Thierry's goals are crucial to him staying in the Arsenal team. With the transfer window opening in a month however, it is highly possible that he may be dealt to a smaller team in a lower division.
