Unhandled Exception - NBA Live 2000

Postby djswag on Sun Nov 24, 2002 12:33 pm

Hi.
I have been having this ongoing problem with my version of NBA Live 2000. I have not been able to play this game for a long time, it really pisses me off!!!! Anyways....The problem is....when i go to start the game, the first screen comes up....but then, it comes up with this message:
"Unhandled Exception 0x0000005 occured at address 0x6000c328
Stack Trace Unavailable
Do you want to dump this file for crash?
Yes or No?"

I am not sure what to do, i tried reinstalling, but that doesn't work...i tried just about everything infact, and nothing has worked. Im wondering if this has happened to anyone else, and if so, have they gotten it fixed? Please respond ASAP!!!!!

Thanx

I have such problem when i edited certain files.
Erase everything or move to another directory. Reinstal the game and make sure you're using the deaulft .dbf (players, teams, etc) when you load it.

I had that happen just the other day...are you using 40.72 nVIDIA drivers? Because that's what was causing it for me.

I use a Gforce-4 mx 420. But I didn't have any problems with the video. The game was a bit slow, then i got more ram and now it's ok.
i play the maximum resolution.

This problem happened to me when I updated my nVIDIA drivers. I had to go back to the 30.82 drivers in order to fix the problem.

You can snag old nVIDIA drivers at: http://public.www.planetmirror.com/pub/ ... s/Windows/
The 30.82 are available there.

Hope that helps.
