PS; some of these are really not working. ive extracted them to the correct folder and theyre still showing me "fake" players. they still got the right name but not the right # or face. something is wrong. i know it, i think.

Have you edited the player.dbf file and appearance.dbf file ?

Which does not work ? I have downloaded most of these CF last year without any Pb

yes. ive done the editing where and when its told me to. i edited them whenever i dl the files with the dbf changing.

You have to reload the roster in the game after you edit the .dbf

i did. no worky. after dbf editing, the imposter portraits are still there.

did you create a new roster. Have you been trying to edit one of the files in the database folder instead of the saves folder

you mean like creating a new player? and um, ive been editing under saves folder i think.

god some ppl hav to learn to use tutorials or sum shit i see this guy askin questions everywhere, wrk it out and learn from it man... thts wat i did

man...that IS what i did, but when i did it, things came out lookin screwed up. maybe you guys are so good at it because you got used to it like youre some video game creating professionals, unlike me, im not at that same level yet. true, you may have more experience than me, but even going through tutorials and walking through the instructions, im still getting mess-ups and i dont know why. ive been doing it step-by-step and i tend to get errors sometimes or either they dont show up or there are some pink graphic images in certain parts of the games, for instance: shoes, shorts, arms, legs, accessories. i have been asking around as you may see, and some work and some dont. its about 50/50 percent of the files that ive gotten work and others that do not, even after editing dbf files and re-loading the file.

Why don't you post the steps you took step by step so we can see what you have done.
