Actually I think GK was a great choice... young GK's always get picked up in this game, the problem is that at the moment you're really young. You'll all play eventually, just a matter of being patient since the regular seasons have barely started.

Edit: Since I want to watch Holland/Argentina at 4am I might do another sim tonight, depends on whether I have to go out tomorrow or not. I'll get some more info for you guys who haven't played.

I'm pretty happy I got on the scoresheet...game winning goal to say the least.

They will know better than putting me on the bench after that performance.

Excellent work Jaesus. (y) If there is anything I can help with let me know before this thing gets overwhelming in any way.

I'm not sure but I think hot prospect for the future is below decent young player on the food chain in the game. I'll have to check it out though. Hot prospect I think is for the reeeally young players but I am only 60% sure.

Nah, hot prospect is above decent young player. Hot prospect is generally for guys with loads of potential, decent young player is for decent young players lol.

Holy crap, this is the most awesome thing i've ever seen.

I'm gonna be following this all the way. (Y) It'll be interesting to see how everybody's progress goes.

Being a pass-orientated mid-fielder was a good choice i think. (Y)

Like I said in the other thread, you didn't fill your form out properly. You didn't pick a position or any abilities.I didn't realise until I was creating you in the game.

My key board is dead so I can't do any updates at the moment. I'm using an online keyboard.

And Sam, sorry it's way too late.

MONTH #3

Image
Spent all month recovering from his sprained ankle, before finally returning to training at the end of the month.

Image
Dahl continued to be a consistant member of the Newcastle United Reserves set-up, starting in the first Group 1 game of the season as Newcastle ran out 2-1 winners over Sunderland Reserves. Due to a lack of match fitness, Dahl was rested against Wigan Reserves but despite his absence United went on to win 3-1. Coming back into the team to face Leeds Reserves, Dahl showed a new side to his game that took everybody by surprise. His usual style consisted of dominating his defensive area, and playing long balls up to the midfield. Dahl took it upon himself against Leeds Res. to get forward and try to create for his teammates. This went extremely well, as he ended with 2 assists which is incredible for a central defender, and was justly named Man Of The Match.

Games Played: 5
Goals: 0
Assists: 2
Man Of The Match: 1
Yellow Cards: 1
Red Cards: 0
Tackles Per Game: 8.60
Fouls: 3
Average Rating: 7.40

Despite his meteoric rise for Sao Paulo Under 20's, Bang has suspiciously fallen out of favour with the team and been starting off the bench in his last three appearances. Bang seems undeterred by this relegation, and has maintained his fantastic 10.55 tackles per game. How long this demotion lasts remains to be seen, as Sao Paulo Under 20's really lacks any defenders of Bang's quality. Despite him not starting, Bang has continued to perform strongly and not let the team down in his appearances off the bench. The match against Portuguesa Santista especially was impressive, with his 14 tackles in 30 minutes sealing the game. The following win against Sao Caetano solidified Sao Paulo Under 20's spot in the Group 9 ladder, currently sitting at 4th.

Games Played: 11

Red Cards: 0
Tackles Per Game: 10.55
Fouls: 16
Average Rating: 7.00
International Caps: 1 (South Korean Under 21's)

Image
Cwebbiverson is in a position much like Srjiba. Despite his obvious talent, he's just far too young at this point to be playing in the Milan Under 20's first team.

Image
The rise of Dadinha continues. After making his mark on the Under 18's ranks by scoring the winner over Villarreal Under 18's, Dadinha followed this up by scoring another goal in each of his next two appearances. He started off the bench against Hercules Under 18's, and much like Thierry at Arsenal, came off as a super sub scoring the second goal of the match to seal a 2-0 win for the Sevilla side. His reward for that performance was a start against Murcia Under 18's. In a game that saw a total of five goals scored, Dadinha waited until late to join in on the fun, scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute to send the Murcia fans home dejected. Currently locked in a battle with Segarra and Plaza for the starting spot up front, Dadinha has surely surged ahead after his consistant performances so far.

With the season well underway, Dean's age sees him down in the pecking order at united. As the season goes on he may get some more game time.

Image
Playing for Real Madrid C see's Drex taking more of a developmental role as opposed to getting game-time. His skills have improved noticeably since the beginning of the season, as with Dean, his future will become clearer as the season rolls on.

Image
Jing's rollercoaster of a career continues, and in an unusual turn of events finds himself not only playing for the Arsenal Under 18's, but also for the Arsenal Reserves. The team is lacking numbers, and as a result Jing has been chosen to fill in and has done so admirably. His Reserves debut came against West Brom reserves, where Jing turnt in the performance of his career and was named man of the match in their 2-0 win. His dominating midfield presence was accentuated by a goal assist, and he was also called up for a loss to Fulham Reserves (1-3) and a win over Crystal Palace Reserves (3-1) Due to his reserve team call-ups, Jing was limited to only two Under 18's appearances but he carried on his form, especially in a 3-0 win over Reading Under 18's where he again dominated the midfield and was named Man Of The Match. The biggest worry with Jing's mass work load is the possibility that he may burn out before the season is over, but in the meantime he continues to stamp his authority on two separate leagues.

Jugs is struggling to break into an ultra talented Ajax Under 21's side, but his attitude remains positive and his work in training is obviously paying off. Named as the 5th substitute in a recent match against FC Utrecht Under 21's, Jugs could be close to an appearance.

Image
Nick started the month where he left off, putting on an impressive performance against Leece Under 20's. The real acid test however, was a match-up with the superbly talented Inter Milan Under 20's side, which boasts names such as Belgium Under 21 international Glenn Verbauwhede. Despite the strength of the opposition, Nick was in fantastic form as he set up a goal for Stefano Chuka Okaka and completely swung the momentum towards AS Roma Under 20's, leading them to a 2-0 victory. This would be his last game for Roma for the rest of the month, going down in training with a stubbed toe reminiscent of Shaquille O'Neal. The injury only kept him out for two weeks, but he's struggled to force his way back into the starting team ever since.

Despite being gifted a starting role for VIllarreal Under 18's, Peachy has sensationally been left completely out of the squad following a series of bad training sessions and bust ups with club staff. As a punishment, his registration for the season was revoked meaning he is ineligable to play any league games. Where this leaves him for the future is anyone's guess.

Starting the month, sdude wasn't even considered for a spot on the bench in the Atletico Under 18's squad. Some fantastic performances in training however have seen him leap-frog the older, more experienced Alejandro Carrasco and become the first choice keeper off the bench behind Alex Gil. With Gil already at 18 years of age, Sdude may get an opportunity to start sooner than expected.

Image
Still yet to make his debut for Inter Under 20's, the reason for this is purely his age. Virtually three years younger than the rest of the team, Srbija may have to wait to force himself into the side.

Image
Another two games for The X in the Scottish Reserves Group 1, and his performances have gone from average to inconsistant. After injuries to striker Steven Thompson, the team has been on a slide but The X remains one of the first choice players in the squad, despite first team players sometimes being sent down for match fitness. In the 2-0 loss to Kilmarnock Reserves, The X struggled badly. Some thought his fitness issues may have returned and there were rumours that he might be left out of the squad all together for the game against Motherwell Reserves. Luckily for The X, he started in his usual left side of defense and was the star of the show. Anything and everything Motherwell Res. threw down the flanks was repelled by the gutsy Kiwi, and his performance would've been a man of the match had his team not lost 3-1.

The biggest change of fortunes in NLSC history so far. After Thierry was dumped from the Reserve team, some though he may never pull on an Arsenal shirt again. Too old to play in the Under 18's, and not good enough for the first team, the only way for Thierry seemed out the door. This all changed in the match with Norwich Reserves. After being named the 11th substitute, Thierry was bumped up the list when an injury opened a door. After going down 1-0 early, Thierry was brought on in the second half and dominated the game, scoring two goals and giving Arsenal Reserves a 2-1 victory. This form followed him in wins over West Brom Reserves and Crystal Palace reserves, where he again grabbed a double in the afformentioned game. His 5th goal came in a 3-1 lost over Fulham Reserves. The most incredible thing about these performances however, is that Thierry started off the bench in all of them. Suddenly his future is looking alot brighter.
