Season still not underway, yet to play any games.

Dahl started the month by being offered a new contract with Newcastle United. The contract sees him extend his old one by two years, and also gives him an extra £40 per week. Following his acceptance of the contract, manager Graeme Souness moved him from the Under 20's squad to the reserves, where Dahl played his first game against semi-professional Scottish outfit Carnoustie Panmure. Expectations were low, but Andreas's performance was of the highest quality as he amassed an incredible 16 tackles and dominated the Carnoutsie forwards. The Newcastle forwards however were equally as inept and the game finished 0-0. His next appearance came against a much stronger side in Wrexham, and despite his fantastic first up appearance Dahl was resigned to coming off the bench where he performed admirably but struggled to live upto his match against Carnoutsie. Despite this, Newcastle Reserves rolled to a 2-1 win.

The young South Korean has been a regular in the Sao Paulo Under 20's team so far as they've hovered around 7th place in Group 9 of their league. Despite the extremely attacking nature of Brazilian teams, Bang has stood his ground and won plaudits throughout the club with some very solid performances, including a goal in the 3-1 win over Flamengo Under 20's. His incredibly 10.34 tackles per game have not gone unnoticed either, and he has been called up to represent the South Korean Under 21 international side. The most shocking thing about this call-up, is that despite his relatively young age Bang has bypassed the Under 19's entirely. He is yet to be selected to play for South Korea, but is obviously on the fast track to an impressive career.

Jing has made three appearances for the Arsenal Under 18's side, playing in casual friendly matches against non-league opponents. He earnt his first start in the first team and justified the selection with a solid outing that saw him dictate the midfield play and generally impress. His next game however was a complete disaster and he has since lost his starting role. With the season yet to get underway, anything can change from now.

Nick made his first appearance in an AS Roma shirt coming up against non-league opposition in a series of casual friendly matches. Despite his lack of footballing experience, Nick's performances were solid enough to earn him a second call-up to the team where he capped off a good performance with his first goal. His general ball distribution is strong, and while the lack of experience does shine through at time Nick can be more than pleased with what has been shown so far, and if he can replicate this form in the league he may earn a call-up to one of the Australian youth international sides. With 26 days until AS Roma Under 20's first game against Livorno, Nick will have to use this time to stake a claim in the squad ahead of more heralded players in his position such as Italian Under 18 internationals Manuel Cervini and Claudio Della Penna.

The month started as badly as possible for the young Kiwi, being relegated to the Rangers reserves team and immediately placed on the transfer list. Unphased by this, The X set out to prove his worth to the team and muscle his way back into the firsts. Everything is going to plan so far, and this attitude was rewarded with a solid performance in the reserves against Montrose. His play was so impressive that he was given a starting role in the following match-up against East Stirling where he again failed to disappoint and was a vital part of the Rangers dominance of that game. His solid play down the left for Rangers will not go unnoticed, and if he can follow this on through the reserve league season he may see himself being picked up by another team, or even taken off the transfer list alltogether.

An unhappy beginning to the month with manager Arsene Wenger placing the Frenchman on the transfer list. His age coupled with some unbalanced performances in the reserves means luck isn't on his side, but there is a chance he may latch onto another team sometime soon.In his three appearances, Thierry2 has seemed somewhat overwhelmed by the speed of the game and has not impressed, but they were only friendlies and the season has yet to start.

Wow, this turned out much better than I expected. Not that I didn't think you'd do something really good, but this is awesome (y)

Do we have a chance to change our own ratings, attributes or anything like that throughout the game (not sure if that's even possible), or do we only rely on the in-game training? And also, do the money we make have any purpose, or is it just a milestone to reflect our success, sort of a thing?

Jae you better run this for at least 5 SEASONS

I have something to brag about, I have the highest minimum fee release clause of 240,000.

Nice presentation Jae, really like what you did with it. Looks alot better than what I expected. I thought it would be filled with text and screenshits but I guess I forgot who Jae is. Two thumbs up.(y) (y)

I feel sorry for the few guys who are "Not needed by the club."

edit: Jae you made a mistake on Thierry's player. You have bonus= assists-90 and assists-45.

Oh...and start calling me Dadinha. .....pretty please.

The money doesnt really serve any purpose more than bragging rights. Also, as far as I know its progression through training and such. If your player is young then that should be splendid. If he is old then thats not good because rating decline around 28-32 (varies but roughly that).

Thanks guys.

Do we have a chance to change our own ratings, attributes or anything like that throughout the game (not sure if that's even possible), or do we only rely on the in-game training?

Nah it can't be changed, it'll pretty much depend on your own development since everyone's potential rating is random. For instance, #12's attributes were fairly poor at the start of the month, but by the end of the month he's probably in the top 5 as far as current ability goes.

And also, do the money we make have any purpose, or is it just a milestone to reflect our success, sort of a thing?

Just something to brag about, I thought it'd be cool to see exactly how much money everyone amasses over their careers.

Jae you better run this for at least 5 SEASONS

I think I'll have to, alot of these guys are only 13/14

edit: Jae you made a mistake on Thierry's player. You have bonus= assists-90 and assists-45.

Yeah I know, first one was supposed to be "appearance" but I can't be bothered changing it.

Oh...and start calling me Dadinha.

 alright.

Anyways another update to come later, the aim is to do 2 or 3 months per week.

MONTH #2

Image
Luck hasn't been on #12's side, as he has been injured all month with a sprained ankle that looks like keeping him out of action for at least another three weeks.

Image
It seems Newcastle Reserves manager Alan Murray finally saw sense and placed Andreas Dahl in the starting line-up for the final friendly of the season against another lower league opponent in Grimsby Town. Dahl re-paid his managers faith, putting in a typically solid performance and helping Newcastle on their way to a crushing 4-0 win. Even though the season is yet to start officially, Dahl's value has jumped more than 300%, rising from £120,000 to £375,000. Dahl will start the Reserves Group 1 season in a team boasting such established players like Amdy Faye, Lee Bowyer and his central defensive partner Titus Bramble.

The career of Bang continues to rapidly improve. His astonishing tackles per game has been maintained and it's now just a matter of time before he is moved up to the Sao Paulo reserves, or even the senior squad. The month started poorly for his side as they crashed to two consecutive defeats, losing 0-2 and 1-2 to Fluminese and Nautico respectively. Bang was one of the few Sao Paulo players to stand up and be counted during these games, and this was rewarded when he made his South Korean Under 21 international debut against North Korea, leading the defensive line and celebrating a 3-0 win. Shortly after he was placed on loan by Sao Paulo, hoping to get some first team experience for their new star on the rise. Bang took his international form with him back to club football, and since that match Sao Paulo have some tough competition in Botafogo (2-0) and Corinthians (2-1) To top things off, his team now sits in 5th place, two places higher than the previous month.

After patiently waiting for his first game with Sevilla Under 18's, Dadinha was rewarded with a bench spot in a the first match of the season against Ciudad Murcia. Dadinha, despite his efforts in training, only played 10 minutes and was obviously not given enough time to imperss. Strangely however, in the next match against Villarreal Under 18's, Dadinha started up front alongside young Spainiard Plaza. In a match that featured another NLSC player in Peachy, Dadinha left his mark on the game by scoring the winning goal in the 75th minute and putting the unfancied Sevilla Under 18's through to the second round. After this performance it became apparent that Dadinha may have solidified his place in the starting line-up in the near future.

After his sketchy form in the pre-season friendlies, Jing finally got a taste of real club football playing in two matches for Arsenal's Under 18's in their league group. This saw a marked improvement from the young midfielder as his two solid performances seemed to suggest he was finally coming to grips with the English game. In the 1-1 draw with Southampton Under 18's, his assured play in the midfield kept their young Finnish Under 17 international Tim Sparv completely out of the game, to the point where Southampton actually removed him from the match alltogether. It was much the same in yet another 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers Under 18's, where Jing dominated QPR's Shane Garricks, and drew an impressive 6 fouls out of the 17 year old.

Having impressed with his early form for Roma, Nick stepped up and was thrown right into the Under 20's Group 1 match against Livorno. His skillful play in the midfield dictated the pace of the game, and much like Dadinha, he made his mark on the game by scoring the winner in the 86th minute. After Claudio Della Penna went down with a dislocated jaw, his manager re-shuffled the formation and created a unique attacking 4-2-3-1 with Nick playing in behind 16 year old potential mega-star Stefano Chuka Okaka. Nick was unfortunate to not get amongst the goals in their 3-1 thrashing of Parma Under 20's in the 1st round of the Under 20's Cup, but his blossoming partnership with 17 year old Italian Loris Lorini has certainly raised some eyebrows, as the two have combined to score 3 goals in only 2 games.

The start of Peachy's career with Villarreal has had it's ups and downs. It began with him being selected on the bench against Numancia Under 18's, and after going up 3-1 he was injected into the game where his speed proved problematic for the Numancia defense, so much so that he was handed a start in the Under 18's Cup 1st Round match against Sevilla and NLSC striker Dadinha. His solid performance was an improvement even on his first appearance but it wasn't enough to send Villarreal through and they crashed out of the tournament thanks to a late Dadinha goal. Strangely however, after this match Peachy was dropped alltogether for the next league match against Zaragoza Under 18's with poor match fitness being blamed. If fit, Peachy should see himself picked in future as he is the only wingback in the entire club outside of the first team.

Still on the transfer list, The X has continued on his mission to prove himself to Alex McLeish and has played a large role in Rangers FC Reserves currently being 1st in their league. Staring in wins over Falkirk and Dunfermline Athletic Reserves, The X saw a sudden dip in form after he suffered a knock playing against Hibernian Reserves. Undeterred, the Kiwi defender came back and played in the teams first loss of the season against Livingston, however he can hardly be faulted for it after 17 year old defender Sam Woods got himself sent off. The injury appears to have shaken The X up more than he is letting on, his recent form has been poor in comparison with his early season games but he remains the first choice defender for the Rangers Reserves, though he is down in the pecking order behind Olivier Bernard and Steven Smith for a place in the first team.
