Phil Jackson can't win a ring unless he has the best and most clutch players in the NBA.

THE MIAMI BENCH, ANOTINE WALKER, AND HASLEM REALLY DESERVE SOME RESPECT. PAYTON HIT BIG SHOTS IN GAME 3 AND 4. POSEY, GREAT JOB DEFENDING NOWITZKI AND HITTING THE 3'S EVEN THOUGH NO PLAYS WERE SET FOR HIM. ALONZO(2006-2007 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR) MOURNING, THE EXCELLENT, CLINCHING GAME 6. 5 BIG BLOCKS AND HIT BIG SHOTS INSIDE THE POST. ANTOINE WALKER, STOPPED SHOOTING SO MANY OUTSIDE SHOTS AND DROVE INTO THE POST, MAKING THE DEFENSE PAY. HASLEM, EXCELENT GAME 6. 2ND HIGHEST SCORE BEHIND DWAYNE WADE. MIAMI REALLY DESERVES THIS.

actually the same could be said of riles considering I would now consider wade the best player in the nba. And no, he's not even my favorite.

Aren't you a Suns fan?

....'wagoning his way through life.

Yeah, wagoning my way through life  One of my very posts here, I said that I was a Heat fan, even through the shitty seasons they had before they got Shaq, back when Zo had the kidney transplant, and they were one of the leagues worst.

Yes, I am a Suns fan too... is there something wrong with rooting for two teams from separate conferences?? I've been a Heat fan ever since I started watching the NBA, and if it came down to a Suns/Heat finals, they are the team I would be rooting for.

The Mixed applause and boos were why I didn't bother watching the celebration ceremony. It's not good television for an unbiased observer like me to see the champion celebrate at the opponent's stadium. I would rather watch what I saw in the Stanley Cup Game 7 when Carolina celebrated the cup in front of a packed stadium of cheering , jubilant fans.

After Wade's performance tonight , and in the entire NBA finals in general , he is the new king of the NBA for now. Kobe Bryant , the superstar that couldn't carry the team on his back , didn't make it to the finals. Neither did Lebron...but what Wade did was simply phenomenal. I thought Dallas would win the series because they had a more complete team and didn't rely on 2 players like Shaq and Wade , but Wade proved me wrong , big time. Averaging as much as he did in the finals , being a 4th quarter force and carrying the team on his back repeatedly to win an NBA championship...that was better than what either Kobe or LeBron did or have ever done...and he's in his 3rd year!

Hence I anoint Dwayne Wade the new King of the NBA World. Move over King James , there is a new King in town.

Heh... I like it how even Miami fans like it when Walker doesn't shoot. He really helps the team out a lot.

I'm ready to see what Wade will do when there is no more Shaq. If he can still carry that team to the Finals, I just might boo-boo on myself

"Fatoine Walker". I sugget you go to therapy before you go cutting yourself.
Woot Miami Heat are NBA Champs. 3/5 Miami starters got a double-double with Shaq 1 point away from his double-double.

Shaq just said four more years... just guaranteed a repeat as well.

Oh, and if you want to call me a bandwagoner, go right ahead, I've got plenty of reasons to be a Heat fan:

1. I followed Dwyane Wade through Marquette and he's been my favorite college/NBA player for the last four or five years.
2. Michael Doleac played for my Utah Utes.
3. Shandon Anderson played for my Utah Jazz for many years.
4. Shaquille O'Neal got away from my most hated player in Kobe, thanks. :)
5. I became a fan through the Knicks/Heat rivalries that happened when Allan Houston was still around. If anything I jumped on the bandwagon back in the 90s when I watched the playoffs on television. I've never been a fan of the Knicks so I just stuck with Miami to win out east from then on.
6. Pat Riley is one of my top three favorite coaches of all-time.
7. Alonzo Mourning, what's not to like about this guy? Sure, he might argue each and every foul but he did what his doctor said he couldn't do and now look, he has a championship.

I hate all the poeple whining about the refs, as if it was the SAME refs for EVERY game.

See, now this is the stuff that pisses me off. He gets overexcited and starts saying stuff he really doesn't mean  Every guard he plays with, he calls him the best player ever and he does it all the time.

Lol. I think that was the reason Dallas traded him. He took too many bad shots.
I can't believe the assholes booed the NBA Champs. I could stand the boo's for David Stern but they showed no respect whatsoever. I hope Dallas gets dismantled and never win a championship again because they don't deserve it if they shows this kind of attitude.

dwyane wade is a fucking animal. i swear, him "not having" a 3 point shot is a blessing -- probably one of the most efficient scorers i've seen in a long, long time.

glad to see GP finally win one

Could it just be that each player he plays with is that much better than the last? ;)

Dwyane Wade>Kobe Bryant>Penny Hardaway.
