magius wrote:we hear this every year, every series from the opposing teams fans. We hear all these stupid excuses again and again when people are too proud to admit that their team lost. Shut the fuck up. Why did miami get more free throws? simple, shaq and wade. Miami is a team that attacks in the paint vs dallas which is a jumpshooting team. Shaq alone got miami to the limit pretty early every quarter, not to mention dallas's big - who would usually help against wade - is slow because they don't want the lob to shaq. So either the big is slow getting there and that leads to a foul, or a different help defender is slow reacting - which leads to a foul. Don't point to the fucking foul count, you have to play the game a certain way to get fouls. Thats like saying "why doesn't that bum who does nothing all day earn any money?" You want a pretty game where both teams get 20 free throws each? Then what the hell is the point of fouls? just take away fouls and give each team 20 points to begin with.
It looks like Dallas finally got the short-end of the stick- they had it coming. Avery's Dallas Maverick team wouldn't be here if it wasn't for their luck in the second round versus San Antonio. Duncan was clearly fouled as the buzzer sounded and there was no whistle (Duncan sinks a free throw and they're headed to the conference finals). Also, remember that game where Dallas had 50+ free throws with all kinds of terrible calls earlier in that Spurs series?

This hits it right on the head. Don't give me this shit double standard.... because you know what? Then I can say if it weren't for those same douchebag refs dallas wouldn't even be playing right the fuck now.

Whine, whine, whine, whine. No team that whines this much deserves to be a champion. All they do is make excuses. Howard even got pissed off at a reporter when all he did was show him something he could not answer - classic case of someone who knows he's wrong and doesn't want to admit it. "Oh all I did was make a t motion with my hands." Idiot. The foul on wade was as legit as any of the late 4th quarter calls by miami on dallas. The over and back I can't say, but I'd trust that the refs were on it rather than make stupid statements. I wonder if they made a statement.

Miami in 6. Dallas as a champion would be pathetic at this point; heart of a cornered squirrel.

doesnt matter. the player is judged to be wherever their feet last touched the floor while in mid-air.....therefore wade was, according to the rules, in the front court until he landed in the backcourt. i actually looked at the youtube video and thought he might have got his left foot down before the catch, not sold entirely on that though. but while in mid-air, a player is judged to be wherever their feet last touched the floor. not where they land, and not where they would be if they were on the floor.

Honestly, Magius & Glove Guy are my two favorite posters in this thread. Least favorite has to go to Mafia, nice way of getting yourself out of your bullshit statements before. With that attitude of oh, Miami is going to get it's ass swept. Pff.

Laker Socks, you keep thinking the NBA fixed, while you're at it, say hi to your martian family members.

Amazing game by Wade, to say credit should only be given to him is also absurd (Mafia..) given he didn't score 101 points to beat the Mavs, how about actually showing Miami some respect? You're such an ignoranus it's absofuckinglutely shocking. First since Wade wasn't on fire or getting 40+ points in the first two games, you write off Miami. Then for game three you come telling us it's impossible Miami will win because "just look at that, Wade had to score 40+ points just to get the Heat a 2 point win." Then you realise Wade is going to stay on fire and is pure greatness, you change your tune to "oh, Wade deserves all the credit, the rest of Miami though sucks".

Fugger off with that downplaying bullshit, fact of the matter remains that Miami is up 3 games to 2 no matter how much you downplay it.

God it's been a long time since I've been this ticked off at anyones comments. The sheer lack of respect can only be described with one word. Disfuckinggusting.

Somewhat off-topic, I asked this back during game one, but has anyone found out what song they were playing in Dallas when introducing the visiting Heat lineup? Btw, hope Dallas wins this. Im cheering for both, but I lean more towards the Mavs.

I really want this win for GP and Alonzo. If wade can have another solid night he will be talked about for a very long time. I think for themt o secure a victory this will have to be Shaq's best game of the series. Game Time!

WOW, did you all see Zo Moruning stuff Howard?? Great block and he finished with a dunk on the other side. 30-23 now.
Devin Harris is such a pussy. When he draws the offensive fouls, the calls are like at the edge of being a defensive foul. The foul he just got charged with in Game 6, Harris gets all pissed off. Harris' push and fall days are over.

I guess i should be saying what a start from Dallas right? Yes, they have started amazingly, but i'm really happy with the little bit of a fight back Miami have thrown at Dallas at the on of 1. Zo has come to play! Anyone notice when they were retreating to their benches at the Q1 break, Alonzo was pumping his arms and jumping around. Glad Wade has made those last few shots! This is gonna be a good one, by the way, loving the Tom Petty :D

During the commercials, did anyone see the NBA commercial?
The one that shows like statistics over the NBA season. The "Thank you for being a fan" Paul Pierce looked like a fatass. His face was pudgy and his muscles disappeared(if he had any to begin with).
Woot Miami is within 1. If Miami wins, they win on Mavs homecourt. The only people that would stay for the Miami celebration would be the media.

Wade is a 'true' player. If i was a Dallas fan i'd begin to worry, he has it going. Again.

Miami has way too many turnovers to start this game. Dallas is playing excellent defense and fighting for every rebound, offensive and defensive. Miami is just standing there and not hustling.
This serires will go to Game 7.

I beg the differ. This recent Dallas run was more so Miami's bad play. Wade has to keep taking control, i'd also bring back that unit that included Wade and Mourning. It's gonna go down to the wire.

Maybe Miami will improve in the 2nd half but Dallas is gonna give everything they got since they are on the edge of elimination. I look for Dallas' Big 3 to get more minutes.

The mavs are living and dying by jumpshots despite miami's tons of turnovers. Do they really wanna win a championship? Can't say im dissapointed to see miami go into the half with the lead.
