they give points on every time the wrestlers appears on tv, on every finishing move, weapon shots, etc, there's a system. it's pretty shallow and mostly based on luck.

and the sig stays, it says one more time and it can still happen in the future

I wanted to join but I thought the same thing and didn't bother reading the rules, guess I was right.

Of course not. It's not the World Domino Championships, so who wants to see it? ;)

come on now, this is FOX8 we're talking about....not ESPN. I believe it is Top Model that is of such importance they have no room on the schedule.
I don't see, though, why they can't have it at least for free on main event or something, if they cant fit it into a schedule somewhere. What with Top Model and the Domino Championships.
Also, keep in mind that they have cancelled Velocity (cause ECW is now in its place), but they aren't televising ECW.

My sister watches that top model shit, it's fucking annoying. And ESPN are advertising the Domino Championships like it's the fucking World cup. I'd prefer more sports replays or at least classic matches rather than fucking Domino, Scrabble and Fishing. (Although Scrabble is the pwn).

Kobe rules, we have excellent wrestling coverage here in australia. two day delays is awesome. I remember back in 97 and 98 when it was 3 week delays! But of course back then wcw ppv's were free on fox sports :boohoo:

I have to agree with Matthew, the coverage is already pretty good with RAW being shown around a day and a half after it airs in the States and Smackdown actually airs here before it's shown in the US. I remember when FTA used to have the "Superstars" recap show back in the late 90s, they fell behind and just never caught up. It was in and out of Channel Ten's lineup and whenever it returned, it was the next show in line so eventually it was months behind.

It's a shame they won't be showing ECW in Velocity's place but the coverage in general could be a lot worse.

fair point, but I still don't see why they can't show ECW in place of Velocity, at the least. They've dropped Velocity, they need something to replace it. And I'm sure it will tie in with the WWE storylines enough to confuse the hell out of everyone that doesn't get to see it. I'll concede that it copuld be worse, but as of the inception of ECW, it could now also be better. Then again, at least they aren't replacing it with the World Domino Tournament :P

I like how it is now. It gives ECW the old feel as opposed to having it just replace Velocity and feel like it's just another WWE show.

Finally, they give the belt to RVD, too bad that they might just take it away on RAW tomorrow. it sucks how the sabu vs rey match had to end... I read the results of the show and it I was laughing at how the crowd reacted to Cena and the ending to Sabu vs Rey.

Oh, koberulz, I finally remembered the site...check your pm

--The owner of Wrestlecrap.com, RD Reynolds, has set up a fund for the family of John "Earthquake" Tenta. You can donate money via Paypal. Go to Wrestlecrap.com for more on that.

--Rob Van Dam will not be carrying John Cena's WWE Title to ECW, so whether it's at the PPV or on RAW the next night, Cena will end up on top. There will likely be a disputed finish during tomorrow's match.

Hardly seems worth having Cena drop the belt just to have him win it back, but I'm actually glad to hear that. That title has too long a lineage within the company and to have it become the ECW title while starting up a brand new belt to replace it just doesn't seem the right way to go.

Sabu vs Rey probably the best match cause they both couldnt finish it.

Cena vs RVD how you gonna make RVD's 1st title win so controversial thats just wrong i think if he won the title it should have been clean but check this out RVD has wins over both Champs in the same week.

Edge is a dumbass i know if anything hes the one who will be the next champ on raw he says what every WWE fan thinks about John Cena , he plays to the fans about how sick everyone is of Cena holding the belt. I swear Cena's promo's have been stale as of late thats why everyone got tired of him. If cena gets the title back without a legit win over RVD ill be pissed

DX is back baby... Spirit Squad vs DX at Vengeance we saw this coming.

Cena going to ECW on tuesday and pay those bums a visit after they jacked him for the title. Why do i feal like the ECW show will have alot of WWE talent every week on there. ECW alone doesnt have that big a roster pool to put on a good show they have to feud with WWE talent. 8-)

Fake Kane sent Kane over and down the entrance way, i do agree the fake kane does look more convincing now but still looks like Kane is getting this match out the way so he can have some big matches down the road. hopefully he goes to smackdown after batista comes back and feuds with him after batista take out mark henry. 8-)

--The Rey Mysterio vs. Sabu finish was the planned finish to the match and neither were said to be severely injured. They were both a little banged up from the spot.

--Terry Funk needed about six stitches to close up wounds dangerously close to his eye. The video can be seen at ECW.com.

--Paul Heyman was said to have been very happy with the PPV last night and was having a good time backstage.

--Speaking of Heyman, he is the head of the ECW creative team although everything must pass through Vince McMahon first.

RAW will be starting soon on FOX8. I'm still not a huge fan of RVD being champ and rechristening the belt the ECW title but I'll see how it pans out before I write the angle off. I can see why they went that way, but at the moment I feel like it was the wrong decision even with ECW becoming a fulltime brand.

--For those wondering, the Zombie character that the Sandman beat and pinned at the ECW taping last night was Tim Arson of Northeastern independent wrestling. Arson has been trained by Johnny Rodz and has had several tryouts with World Wrestling Entertainment in the past. Recently he has been making numerous appearances for WWC in Puerto Rico.

--A witch portrayed by Shelly Martinez is the next "supernatural" type character we can expect to see in ECW as various vignettes have been filmed for her by WWE.

--The person in the vampire getup on last night's ECW show was Mordecai. He is planting the seeds for the long rumored vampire faction. Rumored names for the faction include Gangrel, Shelly Martinez, Luna Vachon, Dennis "Mideon" Knight and indy wrestler "Bloody" Harker Dirge.

--Sci-Fi Channel officials considered several of the chants at ECW One Night Stand to be highly inappropriate. Because of that, they ordered last night's show from Trenton, NJ to be pre-taped before airing on Sci-Fi. Seeing how the audience is generally made up of children, Sci-Fi Channel officials probably won't have much to worry about from this point forward.

--Kurt Angle now has torn rib cartilage.

--Mike Johnson reports that The Sandman was originally booked to cane an alien last night, but The Sci Fi Network didn't want an alien getting beat up on their network.

--You can expect LOTS more fiction/supernatural themed elements on the ECW show in the coming weeks.

--Jack Victory was backstage at the ECW/SmackDown! taping.

--For you ECW fans that are completely ticked off at what is going on, the only sign of hope that I can give you is that some sources within WWE feel that this whole RAW vs. ECW thing is a way to build the Vengeance PPV and ECW brand and then after that, ECW will be on its own. Vince basically feels he needs to use RAW's ratings to get the product known to the WWE fans in hopes that ECW can survive on its own when there is no hype from RAW or SmackDown. Then again, there is talk of pushing the ECW vs. RAW angle through SummerSlam.

--Ring Announcer Steven DeAngelis was called to work the ECW show but was told in the afternoon that he was not going to be used and sent home. WWE had told DeAngelis to come to the show and that he would be used however once he arrived they had changed their plans. Justin Roberts was used instead.

--The reason that Tazz and The King's match at ECW One Night Stand was shown last night was because the show actually ran short and they had to fill time. Cues in the battle royal were also missed, which caused the production team to fix the mistakes in the 90 minute window that they had after the taping ended to before it aired on TV.

so they were going to advertise the taz(z)-king match for the PPV, but then turn around and not show it? WTF? (N)

Nah, they just replayed it on the debut show as filler...they never cut it from the ppv. at least that's how I understood it

Sounds like their hands are going to be tied by appearing on the Sci Fi Network, cutting down on the violence and using supernatural themes/characters that will probably appear to come straight of mid 90s WWF. Not a promising start for the ECW brand.

For some reason, I wanna see the vampire faction. Maybe it's because of Gangrel.

At least TNA won't have any problems with ECW
