Pau Gasol was traded early sunday morning to the Lakers in exchange for Lamar Odom. We later spoke to Pau in a Press Conference in LA sunday afternoon and he said that he was happy to be out of all the pressure and ready for a new beginning. We later talked to Kobe Bryant on his responce to having Pau as a teammate he later said that he was not very happy with the trade because of all the contreversy that went on in Memphis but he said that he is a great player on the court and that is all that e cares about at this point. Are we going to have another Shaq and Kobe fight in LA? we will find out in these next couple of months and see how things are running.

Game Recap

This game was a fast pace scoring game. In the first Quarter the Grizzlies jumped out to a quick lead but the Kings just would not go away. they were down my 10 and then Mike Bibby hit a three to get the momentom switched to there favor. They went into half time with a 55- 57 lead. In the second half it was a different story the Grizzlies jumped out out the gates as they always do in the beginning of the second half as Lamar lead his team on a 10-0 run. The Grizzlies regained the lead at that point. and the rest was uphill for the Grizzlies until the end of the third Quarter when Mike Bibby hit a 30 foot three and cut the lead to four. So then the Memphis Grizzlies called a timeout and got the lead out to 10 and at that point there was 2 minutes left in the game and they won.


Lamar Odom made his Grizzlies debut and made it in a great way scoring 35 points and grabbing and dishing out 8 ast and rebounds.

I agree, Lamar isn't the best player that you can acquire, especially if you mix and match a few salaries with a few players.

Odom is still one of my favourite players, though. He's very versatile and has point guard-esque passing ability, although he's more like a point foward than a power foward. I like the Josh Howard/Odom tandem a lot, very versatile and can do a variety of things well.

This was a tightly contested game until the end of the 3rd quarter when Damon Stoudamire took the game into his own hands scoring 22 points out of the 27 points that they originally scored. We later talked to Damon about his performance in the 4th Quarter he said that he saw that his team was down and that he thought he need to take the game over. Boy did he ever his head Coach Mike Fratello later said he told him in front of the team that should take it over.

This Game had to have been the lowest scoring tightly contested game of the year. Even though the Memphis Grizzlies got away with the win they still give a lot of props to the New York Knicks for such a great game and effort.During this game there were to great performances Stephon Marbury and Damon Stoudamire each with 9 ast Stephon finished with 25 while Damon finished with 24. During this game in my point of view there were two players of the game biut we will interview the one who won which was Damon Stoudamire.

Todays Game wasnt not a good game for the Grizzlies they were up by as much as 14 points but then in the forth quarter it was the exact opposite. they looked as if they were lost says Coach Mike Fratello they were horrible on getting to the basket i mean Yao must have had 200 rebs and blocks this game he says he is gonna run them Hard in the next practice.
