Hitman: Blood Money

Another great game here folks; it was released 2 days ago. It's possibly the best game i've played for this year. They have really pushed the bar on the xbox version..the graphics are awsome for the console. The gameplay is great if you play it like an assasin..very rewarding; I felt like i was a real hitman. The level before the last has you infiltrating the white house to take out the vice president..jack bower style bitch! :mrt:

PS: This game is gonna be turned into a movie starring vin diesel...with a subsequent game featuring his likeness in the role. It will be made by his studio Tigon...makers of the chronicles of riddick games.

Are the controls smooth? Can it be easy to approach since I've never touched the series... but this one seemed like I could give it a try :P

Controls are good on xbox...and pc. You can switch to full on first person shooter mode..so aiming is a breeze.

Yeah I had Contracts on my PC and it was an AMAZING game. I found out the hard way that my comp won't run Blood Money (N). I guess I have to settle for the PS2 version..

They had a Hitman 1 & 2 and the third one is called Contracts. the new one out a few days ago is the fourth, called Blood Money.

and the graphics have never been that impressive, but it has always made up for it with intuitive gameplay. I think it's amazing that a game's AI recognizes your disguise and the guns you hold. It's crazy.

I'm gonna check out blood money for the pc. I'm really psyched about the version that tigon will release because chronicles of riddick: escape fro butcher bay is one of the greatest games I have ever played. Thanks for the info Yohance.

I don't know why but I couldn't get this game to run smoothly at all. I can get games like Doom 3, Half-Life 2, and Battlefield 2 to run pretty smooth yet my game even lagged on the menu screens which had no movement whatsoever. :( I guess I'll have to get the Xbox version.

You know there is a patch for Hitman: Blood Money that fixes performance problems on certain hardware.

I knew it. I took it back yesterday and somehow managed to get my money back. I might have to go repurchase it. Thanks for the heads up, Pdub.

so I got it for PS2 and I'm at the last level, and I gotta say this game is so deep, it's ridiculous. awesome game though and now I gotta try Hitman 2 which I bought for 3 dollars. man the last week I was just ADDICTED to the game. Last night, I played the game for 2-3 hrs instead of studying for a final exam I had today. And I had a quiz in another class along with some drawings I needed to finish up for drawing class... yeah, all that work to do and I played Hitman.

I installed the 1.1 patch and it had absolutely no effect on performance. I read up on the forums that people with the FX series of Nvidia video cards are having the same problem and that we'll have to wait until another patch is released. :(

After watching 'Lucky Number Slevin' last night, I suddenly remembered that I love those kinds of movies, and hopefully the game as well. Will look to get it in a few days and give it a go..
I have a question though: Do you start as a real n00b, or do you have to go back to Hitman 1 in order to do that?

they have different skill levels, so you can start yourself off slow, but they have the same missions for all the difficulty levels so if you don't wanna spoil the story for yourself, I would suggest getting Hitman: contracts which is the last version of the game... it's not quite as deep as the new game, which will help you get the hang of the controls and how to play and whatnot.

Hmm, alright. Well I don't know if the controls will give me any grief or anything like that, but I just want the storyline to start from the start if you know what I mean. So like you begin with the blank guy that has to train to become a hitman in every game; or if in the latest game, you're just following up on the preview one..
