WHo do you propose as those others that Utah would be willing to take?

Why wouldn't KG work? i heard he wants to get away from the timberwolves, and when he is with Kobe they're definetly a team that could get the championship which I think KG would deserve. They could trade Mihm and maybe Brian Cook. I think they should let Kwame play Center I think physically he could mess with most of them. And in a few years I believe Andrew Bynum will be a great center.

Mihm and Cook for KG...thats not really even. KG's a superstar they'd probably have to get rid of Odom and Kwame in a trade if they wanted him.

Riley confirmed an observation by Channel 7's Steve Shapiro -- that O'Neal, before Game 2, touched the Lakers championship ring that Riley wears. ''He rubs it every now and then for some reason,'' said Riley, who coached the Lakers to four championships. 'He said he thinks it's good luck. I said, `Where are yours? Why don't you wear one of yours? Let me rub it.' ''

Asked about it, O'Neal said, ``I don't know what you're talking about. I don't remember yesterday.''

Seriously shaq. Grow up. (N)

Yeah, Shaq is lucky that Jerry Buss is a class act and he will never allow anyone to wear #34 again despite all the shots shaq has taken at the lakers organization.

They'll trade off Odom and their first round pick for Tracy McGrady and then finish off the season with 82-0, go to the playoff and win the championship .........(foreshadowing)

this has nothing to do with luck

Shaq did a lot for the organziation. he deserves to have his number hanging with the rest of the franchise greats, regardless of how he got along with other players, management, etc

i think even someone like VINNIE JOHNSON has his number retired lol

Why does it have to be Shaq vs. Kobe again?
It could well may have been Shaq's anger against Jerry Buss, that's why Shaq doesn't remember his Laker past.
Let's leave Kobe out of this. :D

"When he talks, guys listen," O'Neal said. "I've heard a lot of horrifying stories about him, but I haven't seen them. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings, but he's actually been the best coach I've ever had in the league."

Wow. What ever happened to "Phil is like a father to me" or "I will never play for any other coach aside from Phil Jackson"?

And this guy has the nerve to call the city of LA a fake city.

I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings, but he's actually been the best coach I've ever had in the league

Referring to Phil maybe?
Phil is like a father to me

There might be difference:
Phil: coach-father
Pat: coach, period

Nobody should take Shaq-quotes seriously.

Ok fellas. Hell has frozen over.

Shaq calls Kobe great
"I got to win 3 championships here with the great Kobe Bryant. I got to win 1 championship with the magnificent Dwyane Wade. I just want to get as many championships as possible".

asked if Lakers kept him, would there be a parade in LA this year...
"Definitely".

It was kind of official that the Shaq-Kobe feud ended when Shaq said that someone(I forgot who, a center I think.....) told him to end this thing between the two players. The Christmas game between the Heat and the Lakers was exciting and excellent. Shaq and Kobe hugged before the game.

wow thats clever :D your kindergarten teacher must be very proud of you.

sure i'll make a bet...what for? in fact, lets make another, i bet that the lakers will never win a championship with kobe as the main man either. I bet that their destiny is as a decade of first round fodder. i feel so safe with that bet that I just went back in time and slept over at michael jacksons' house naked when I was 12. i feel so safe with that bet I put on a blonde wig, fake boobs, high heels, and bent over within 5 feet of kobe bryant.
