Boston, Massachusets...the begining of july...the Boston Celtics called a press-conference so they could introduce their new coach, the bulgarian Alexander Sotirov. "Alex is a former ball player, he played for the Ithaca Bombers in teh NCAA Division 3, and was four time a champion in Bulgaria, with his native club Lukoil Academic. We have big expextations for this season, and we hope that we can achieve our goal - the playoffs, together. May I wish you luck!" the Celtics owner said. Sotirov's only words were : "I'm very glad to be a part of the Celtics organization. The team is a mix between young guns, and people with a 6-7 years in teh legaue behind their backs. Let's hope that this combo will be a winning one for us!"

A night to remember...

Image
Tony Allen breakin' ankles

The Boston Celtics achieved their fourth consecutive victory for this season, as they crushed 107:92 the Golden State Warriors, in front of 17.900 spectators in The Arena In Oakland.
Two young guns will definetely remember that night for the rest of their lives. Tony Allen and Monta Ellis were the best for their teams, as they both scored career-high in points. Allen showed that after those heavy workouts on defense during the summer, he has really improved - 8 steals.
Paul Pierce once again scored his regular points. The Truth ended up with 25, and Al Jefferson contributed with 27 - another career-high in that game. Big Al also had 7 rebounds.
The total disappointment of the evening was Wally Szczerbiak. He finished with only 4 points, having 2-7 field goals.

I played my home game against the Nets, and i won it 111:94, unfortunately, i had some problems with the boxscores, but i can tell you that it was one really nice game. For Boston, The Truth ended up with 27 points and 6 fouls early in the fourth. Szczerbiak and Big Al had 13 and 14, and Jefferson blocked 9 shots. Tony Allen made another great game, scoring 22 points and dishing 9 assists, and Gerald Green, returning after a minor injury, managed to score 21 off the bench.
For New Jersey RJ had the most points - 27. VC added 25, and Kidd had 26.

Final score : 111 - 94

Current balance : 5-0

Big trade announced

ImageImage
LaFrentz and Lil' Matrix changing sides

The GM of the Boston Celtics, Alexander Sotirov announced that earlier today his team and the Atlanta Hawks, finished the converstaions for one big trade. Raef LaFrentz (PF/C, 6-11), is going to join the struggling Hawks, and to Atlanta will go also Ryan Gomes (PF, 6-6), and Delonte West (PG, 6-4). In the other way are going Al Harrington (PF, 6-9), Salim Stoudamire (PG, 6-1), and Royal Ivey (PG, 6-3). In the opinion of the basketball specialists around the league, the Celtics are gaining much more than Atlanta with this trade, but only time will show.

nice job man, on a side now, get rid of the replay box thing so when you take a screenshot you dont have that box thingy
another suggestion is to zoom in on your pictures and have them big, then resize them when you put them on the forums so that the pictures are more clean and a bit more detailed.

Celtics @ Mavs
109 : 92

Celtics hit 6 in a row

The Boston Celtics continue to shock the basketball community, after their amazing start of the season. Tonight the young team of the Celtics, led by Paul Pierce went over Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs in American Airlines Arena in Dallas, TX. The spectators enjoyed a game of high-quality basketball, and saw another Tony Allen Show. #42 of the Celtics played another great game, and without any doubt was chosen for nbaliveforums.com Player of the game. In the end of regulation, Tony had 28 points, 6 steals and 6 assists. for Boston Paul Pierce scored 34 points, Al Harrington scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in his first game as a Celtic, and Gerald Green made another great addition off the bench, scoring 15 points. The 19-year old shooting guard is a real competition to the titular SG of the Celtics Wally Szczerbiak, who played another poor game (2 points), and it will not be a surprise if Green is in the starting line-up against Orlando.
For the home team, the best player on the floor was Dirk Nowitzki. The 7-0 scoring machine ended up with 27 points and 7 rebs. Josh Howard added 19, and Jason Terry had 18 and 13 turnovers.

Current record : 6-0

Next game : vs Orlando Magic (0-2)

Magic scouting
The Magic have an away record of 0-2.
Carlos Arroyo is the best playmaker of the Magic.
Hedo Turkoglu is their best shooter from 3-point land. Have someone at him all the time.
The Magic are 19th in the league in fouls.
Their best defensive rebounder this season is Dwight Howard with 30.
