Hey people, sorry I ended my Bulls dynasty so soon, the excitment was gone really fast and I couldn't help playing anymore. To prevent this, I have decided to make my last ever '06 dynasty- THE NEW ORLEANS HORNETS. I promised myself not to end this even the excitment is gone, or there's a similar non-technical reason. Hope to make you intrested

This dynasty's destiny is the same as the Bulls one i guess
But Hornets are fun team to play with, trade J.R.Smith

Maybe you should play the dynasty for a while to see if it's fun and -then- start posting it :) I've been guilty of the 'post a couple games and then get bored' thing in the past, too.

Pretty easy to just play the games, save screenshots, and then do the writeup in a few days when you're satisfied with the dynasty. :)

I know I deserve critics. The Bulls dynasty was a mistake I was really dissapointed that my Suns were lost, so I made a quick and an undecided move...

Well I already did that, and I'm thinking of doing this for a very long time, I really like this team and it's so fun to play.

Butler’s three started Hornets season with a loss…

Chris Paul showed amazing stuff, but it wasn’t enough…

New Orleans 103, Washington 105

The New Orleans Hornets started the season with a close and a disappointing loss.
Rookie Chris Paul(4th overall in ’05 draft) showed amazing stuff putting in 21 points and dishing out 8 assists. Of course he did 7 turnovers so the efficiency wasn’t that high.
The Hornets were playing in a really high level and weren’t letting down against the Wizards. Though the Wizards had many players who could score and help the team in the opener.
Caron Butler was one of those players hitting many shots, but not in a very high percentage. Still he was the big clutch in the last minute.
Chris Paul and the Hornets were losing by 1 point, at 20 seconds left. Chris Paul took the action. He did great tricks and was able to hit a fade-away jumper over the opponents.
Still Caron Butler started burning time, then he asked for a pick & roll play and then hit a three-pointer leaving the Hornets 0.5 seconds in which they couldn’t do anything…

It is always disappointing when you lose at the last second.
Good game by Paul and Macas, 100% shooting percentage by him

Blazers get their 3rd consecutive against Hornets…

Paul’s job wasn’t that good, 10 turnovers are a bad number…

New Orleans 98, Portland 101

The New Orleans Hornets got their 2nd consecutive loss in a row. Blazers were without their leader superstar Zach Randolph, but Steve Blake and Sebastian Telfair with the help of other players managed to make a big win. Jarrett Jack started of the bench, played 11 minutes and scored 21 points(most in the game).
The Hornets started very successfully and had a 16-point lead in 4 minutes without a miss. Then it started Kirk Snyder missed a few shots and the whole team started struggling till they lost the lead. But they managed to wake up somehow and score some points to end the quarter leading.
At the second teams played evenly, but the quarter ended by a 1 point lead to the Blazers.
The Third was really dominated by the Blazers. They scored many points and had great defense which let them to build a solid lead. They held it till the end of the quarter.
At the last Hornets tried to comeback and their were successful they only needed three points for the tie. Macijauskas and some other great shooters tried to make the Hornets a first win, but they were unsuccessful.

hornets are the best team. keep it up and try to get paul on the nba 1st team.

Yikes, another close loss. Games that go down to their wire either are very exciting if you win or you feel like smashing your computer if you lose. I also noticed Rasual Butler hitting 5 threes in 9 minutes. That's pretty impressive.

Are you going to be trading J.R. Smith? I know that realistically Smith has been pretty unhappy with Bryon Scott and he said that he doesn't mind being traded. Perhaps you should look to move him along with Macijauskas since they're both unhappy and it could open more playing time for another favourite wing player of mine, Kirk Snyder. But then again I'm a pretty big fan of J.R. Smith despite his constant bitching.

Well yeah I like J.R. too, but I don't know I need better big men...

.EDIT
I'm gonna keep Macas, because he's a great shooter which are needed in Hornets...

Mavs blast Hornets…

2Fast 2Furious

New Orleans 86, Dallas 91

The Dallas Mavericks got their 4th consecutive win against the New Orleans Hornets. This dropped the Hornets to the 28th place in the power rankings.
The Hornets were in a great shape. Chris Paul reduced his turnovers and Kirk Snyder showed amazing stuff. While some of the players were playing, some were sleeping like P.J. Brown. Only 5 points.
Hornets needed more help from J.R and Mason they combined only 14 points.
Mavs’s Nowitzki and Terry were doing a really great job and lead the way to the win. Harris also added 14 points and was the leader of bench players.
Nowitzki ended Hornets’ hopes in the last minutes gathering 12 points and stealing Hornets’ lead.

C-R-A-Z-Y Marbury scored 28 points in the 1st half…

New Orleans 99, New York 92

Hornets get their first win this season!!!
In a dramatic match New York started fouling and Paul ended Hornets loosing streak.
First quarter was dominated by the Knicks, but the Hornets were able to stand back and narrow the gap. But Knicks domination was far from over. They absolutely destroyed Hornets in the second shooting in a very high percentage and scoring many points(Marbury scored 15 points in that quarter).
Still the Hornets woke up in the third and narrowed the gap with great defense. Head coach Byron Scott was really mad on his players on taking too many contested three pointers which were the biggest problem for the Hornets.
In the last quarter Hornets managed to defend greatly and create a small lead, which grew in the last minutes’ three-throws and turned into a win…
