yeah for once id have have to agree with you jason, there is no better PF in the L than Tim Duncan. i would of said KG, but i think he has played SF most of the season so id stick with Tim (Y)

yeah he played more sf than pf but he is still better pf than td...in jason kidd's language:he can score, gives very good assists,he can rebound very well, and he blocks shots...and kg is quicker than td!

It's KG, and jason kidd, perhaps you should make you avatar smaller. It's enormous now.

Hey man, he was just expressing his opinion. He's not wrong or anything.

I think KG has a better all around game then Duncan. But, Duncan is better at what power forwards are thought of as and are on the floor to do. Duncan's more of your ideal power forward, while Garnett I think is better than Duncan in areas such as shooting and ball handling.

Funny how everyone agrees that KG might be the top PF in the game, yet no one agrees adding him to Dallas would improve their chances of winning a ring..

That's it, instead of calling him jason kidd we just refer (hehe reefer) to him as spammer and maybe he'll eventually stop.

Duncan is undoubtedly the best power forward...better than Garnett when he plays there. He is stronger and has a better low-post game, he's ideal for power forward. Of course, Garnett would probably beat Duncan at a game of 1-on-1 though.

jason kidd, it would be appreciated if you would reduce the size of your signature. Also, please refrain from insulting fellow board members. Unpleasant confrontations do nothing but ruin discussions.

On the topic, I'd say Tim Duncan. His game speaks for itself.

By Fans Popularity: It would be Tim Duncan...

NBA Players & GM's Choice: Pretty close or equal

By Dominance: Tim Duncan

By Statistics: Practically the same (Tim Duncan & Kevin Garnett) but KG has more assists and a more range, but Duncan scores more inside...

By Success: Tim Duncan

My Choice: Tim Duncan, because KG isn't a pure Power Forward, just like Dirk Nowitzki, their really small forwards!

I'd have to go with Duncan as well but it should be noted that if Duncan was with almost any other team, he would be a Center not a forward and therefore have to go up against bigger defenders on a more frequent basis.

Also, a question for Jason Kidd: How come Dirk Nowitzki isn't on this list, wasn't it you who started that topic of him being underrated and overlooked and yet you, in this topic, are doing the exact same thing. To the best of my knowledge he does play and is listed as a power forward.
