Ice Hockey World Championship 2006

Anyone follows? Which team has the best chance of winning?

I hate this year's Finland's team, it lacks power and scorers. And our #1 goalie injured himself yesterday against Canada.

I think Canada or Russia have the teams to win it. USA is weak again, Sweden isn't that good.

Maybe something else. Another thread ruined. I looked at it like someone had really replied but it was more like someone spammed. Again

Sorry, I didn't have a lot of time when I made that post. I haven't really been following this (it doesn't get a lot of promotional type stuff here :? ), but I know that Canada's doing good. When are the medal rounds?

I wasn't really full of hope for Sweden as they are missing a fair share of their better players that they had when they took the gold medal in the Olympics; and the 5-2 loss against Slovakia didn't make things better. But after the 6-0 game against USA in the quarterfinals, I'm starting to think that we might be able to make it to the finals.
It'll be a very hard game against Canada though who are playing very well. We'll see how it goes Cable Guy  :)

Man Sweden had a great game. But our first opponent in the semifinals is Belarus  if that's not going to be an easy game Finland deserves nothing.

Wow, after that fight following Canada's third goal, which was just despicable by the way (the fight, not the goal ), Sweden dropped down way too low, and Canada stepped up and played great. I find it very fortunate that Canada didn't get in at least another goal before the end, but that's how it is I suppose.. Congratulations Sweden and tough luck Canada, though with the amount of brilliant young players like Crosby I'm sure they'll do even better in the future..

Wow, Finland whooped Canada 5-0 for the bronze. Too bad they lost the semis so Sweden and Czech will decide the 1st and 2nd place. Not bad...
