The official rate the signature/avatar above you thread

Postby peaches on Wed May 10, 2006 10:53 pm

Okay, im sure most of you know how a thread like this works.
If you don't know, if your the next poster rate my current set out of 10 and the next poster will rate your set.
Just so this doesn't turn into a major spam thread, post something you like about the sig above or one think you dislike. (Be civilized) :)

Notes about mine. I saved it under a png file but it was over the limit so i saved it under a jpeg, so dont mind the quality. Im also stuck on text, any suggestions are welcome.

I like the sig, pretty good colour choice. I'm not a fan of the avatar being the same as the sig though. Let's see someone do mine, or better yet, get the reference.

How could someone not get the reference? You've got it at the bottom of your sig.

Is it just me or does it look like Nash is riding a horse?
Decent with the exception of the text not blending with the piece overall. 7/10. (y)

I'm not too fond of the sig, that white guy in the background takes too much of my focus.

The Phil Jackson Avatar is nifty, not something you see everywhere.

I'm not a fan of the avatar being the same as the sig though.

Say what? :eh:

.The 'Home' text seems to be cut off at the bottom, doesnt bother me much, but enough to notice.
Overall I'd say the set is a 6/10. Generously :P

Mm, Colin made it so the text isn't something I can change.

I could be fucked as to what you folks think of the sig + avatar, the significance it holds to my heart is all that matters to me.

Yeah I did, I wanted to be the first to have a #24 avatar but the customise your jersey thing at NBA.com sucks so I just made it from various pics of Lakers wearing the numbers in their jerseys.

7.5/10 for the sig, very emotional lol I like it.

Edit: This is like the 3rd or 4th post today where dadamafia has posted right before me

 I kinda noticed that from another thread. Oh well. *snickers*

@zmac sig/av

Avator is kinda plain but your name adds a nice lil touch (jerseys seem to be the trendy choice for avs nowadays). The Lebron sig pretty plain also, nothing attention grabbing about him biting his lip. 5.84/10

I don't get the theme of your sig. I'm guessing you like kobe bryant and ur nick is dada..but there is no central theme. The avatar is the same...overall score..

The avatar wasn't cut out well, but the attempt to wrap the "thug" around the ball is a nice attempt. The background is too dull and the overall concept isn't that interesting. 3.5/10

The effects on the type is cool, makes it look like a swamp monster or the green blob kind of look, though the continued pattern of 'blobliness' continues all across the sig doesn't show enough variation. The repeated images on the left and right screams amateur. It's a stable enough sig, but nothing interesting, though the mood evoked was a good attempt. 4/10.

My avatar and sig is nothing great, so I don't expect any generous scores :P

I'm waiting for you to put some weird thing in your sig. 4/10 right now, it's pretty easy to make.

Avatar's pretty cool though. 7/10, easy, but funny and strange lol. I guess it matches your sig, "WTF".

I like the avator for some odd reason. Not so much the sig, I can barely make out what its saying and the repeated frames dont do it for me. 6/10

^ dada

I like the avatar, the background is nice and the overall concept is different than most. 7/10

The sig is another issue, really just looks like you desatured an image and put Kobe's picture in it... I think the idea is to isolate Kobe, but I think the length of the sig hinders the attempt.

4/10

Blame everything on Colin why don't ya?

Peachy, sig looks pretty good. The lay-out is good, but the background is bland and looks kind of blurry and low-quality. 7/10 maybe?

Hes not using it for rebound stats, i think its a picture recap of each game in the Suns playoffs series with a comment on what happened in the particular game.

Colin, where are you getting your pics from? :P

Srbija, nice avatar but i keep mistaking you for Riot and you didn't make it either so. 6.6/10.

Sig is pretty meh.
