When I signed up yesterday, I got a e-mail and in it said

Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will
need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another
email when this has occured.

However, I didn't get no extra e-mail and my account is active. Can you change this or something? Something like this would confuse someone like it did to me!

Sometimes junk mail filters treat the activation notice as spam, and deliver it to the trash or junk mail folder. A lot of people who use Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail do not receive the automated email due to their junk mail filters.

Well then, it's either already been deleted or wasn't delivered. I can't really do anything in either case, except apologise for the inconvenience.

Just a note to anyone who may be reading the forum and is awaiting an activation notice: if it's been some time, chances are I've already activated the account but the email has not arrived. Try to log in - if you cannot, email me and I'll look into it.

Andrew, it would reduce the waiting time if you switched the user activation to user, in this way you'd get the right e-mail address
(just a tip)

That wouldn't change the fact that some junk mail filters treat the automated notices as spam. Also, I've set it so that I have to approve all accounts so I can delete multiple accounts (some people signup for a couple of accounts at once), as well as reviewing the account requests to cut down on the amount of troublemakers.
