I kinda get the feeling that Lebron isn't going to have as bad a first year as we think. He's going to get tons of minutes in Cleveland...his new jump shot looks good...and he's got plenty of bulk to withstand a beating. I think he's going to beat Carmelo for Rookie of the Year...and make a bigger impact than Amare did last year.

He's not going to be as good as some of the hype suggests. I doubt his numbers will exceed or equal his numbers in high school, at least in his first few seasons in the NBA. I think he'll bring back the kind of rookie season that's been missing for some time ie. numbers that still look good compared to more established players.

I do think some of this "Hall of Fame material" talk is a bit too much though. He hasn't even played a minute in the NBA, he hasn't even signed a contract with the Cavaliers yet, and it's being suggested he'll end up in the Hall. At least let him accomplish a few things before we start talking about the Hall of Fame and his rank amongst the greats.

I definitely agree with you...I didn't mean to imply that he's going to average 25, 6 and 6 next year or something. I just think he's going to be a factor for the Cavs. Something like 15 points, 5 boards and 3 assists is closer to what I had in mind.

I definitely agree with you...I didn't mean to imply that he's going to average 25, 6 and 6 next year or something. I just think he's going to be a factor for the Cavs. Something like 15 points, 5 boards and 3 assists is closer to what I had in mind.

I'm predicting closer to 19 ppg, maybe close to 6 boards. I'm thinking he might have a season similar to Jamal Mashburn's rookie year.

I think LeBron will score something like that, maybe a bit less. His assists and rebounds I'd predict around 3 a game for both, and one steal a game too.

I agree besides even Kobe,KG and T-Mac has to take a few years to develope He may become a superstar like Kobe,KG,T-Mac but he still needs to develope

LeBron will also be in a much better position than KG, T-Mac or Kobe. He'll probably be in the starting lineup from Day 1, playing at least 35 minutes per game. He'll have the opportunity to put up pretty good numbers. Nothing like his numbers in high school, but comparable to more established veterans.
