I went to the Minny/LAL 2004 Western Finals Game 2... probably the weakest game of the series unfortunately. And tickets are obviously pricey at that stage, but I had fun nevertheless...

Remember that you can always purchase the game from Google.com:
http://video.google.com/nba.html

I remember that D-Fish's .4 shot created screams and shots from tons and tons of neighborhoods.

As excited and great this one was, it still only comes second to .4.

I'm currently on my 25 hour of scouring the web of any articles regarding yesterdays NBA Masterpiece... doesn't this automatically qualify as an ESPN classic?!?!

Yup, you got a controversial game, with a tying shot with .7 to go, and the game winning shot at the buzzer.

I saw it this morning better on sportscenter and I hear Boris (or whoever) call the timeout when Nash was already getting tied up. No way that timeout coulda been given. Phoenix fans are making a stretch expecting that call to be made. Thats the only call I thought was worthy of arguing and it shows the refs didnt do anything wrong. The Smush steal was clean IMO. Probably that hold up of Mr. NoName at the end of regulation coulda been called but thats not being discussed as much as the other. It must really suck to lose against an LA team which everyone thought they'd destroy. Tim Thomas sounded like a little nympho whore when he was whining after the game. He needs to go check replays before he opens his mouth.

anyone see that stuff that matrix had on kobe? yeah, that was sweet. but then the refs got afraid marion would pwn kobe again, so they tossed 3 fouls on him in 2 minutes, just for being a handsome bastard!

 Yeah, that's probably it. Now will you shut the fuck up & take the losses like a man?

Forget that, you're a bitch all the way till Phoenix gets knocked off by LA. Nothing against Phoenix (or it's fans; Colin, Nick), just against you.

Oh, the conspiracy is well alive in the NBA. Look at the ref's head.

Please tell me how on earth you can tell what he's looking at from that pic?

"The ref was looking right at Nash calling the TO"

"The ref saw the Laker guy's foot on the sideline."

"The ref saw Kobe rip out Reggie Evans' nutsack."

How many things can the ref do at once.

Please get over it already.

To be anal, why didnt the refs call the Suns for 5 second inbounding late in the game when they held it for like 8 seconds before a timeout was signalled? I can whine about a million things but its pointless. Just win the next 3 games.

I wasn't complaing. I'm not a Suns fan. Just something to consider. The conspiracy part was a joke lol.

That leg was there for a split of a second. It's not like he's been standing there for the whole time.

I feel if the Lakers can actually close out the series in 5 tomorrow...I think that'll actually be just as much of a miracle as what they did yesterday....to beat the Phoenix Suns 4 times in a row is REALLY impressive. Not that they're invincible but it's incredible how fast that ball moves in the Sun offensive it's like there's 6 Suns on the court...

not really. we've pretty much had no offense.
107, 92, 93, 98 are our scores. our season average was 108.

You had offense, it's just that Lakers had a betted defense . Or just blame the refs, like you always do.

Wow...kind of funny...from the LA Times:

Late in the fourth quarter of the Clippers' Game 5 clinching victory over Denver on Monday, a small chant of "Beat L.A." began inside Staples Center.

Really hoping the lakers close this series tonight, i dont want PHX to have a chance. You know phil is gonna have the lakers playing better than ever before, he knows giving PHX another game would really not be a good idea. Should be a slobberknocker (to coin a phrase) tonight anyway, suns cant lose, lakers will be killing for the win.

Anyways, I get the feeling this is gonna be a long night for LA.

EDIT: Did anyone see that open dunk Kobe had that put LA up 32-31. Its nothing special but its quite possibly the highest I have seen him get in the past couple years. Didnt know he still had i in him. He was also pushed on the play by Thomas but that wasnt called. If LA loses by 1 then I have something to go back to.
