ya i find it pretty unlikily the bobcats will be in live 2004, but never say never because you never know what goes on in the minds of those EA people.

I'm pretty confident in saying never in this case. It just doesn't seem likely that a team that still doesn't exist yet will be added to NBA Live 2004 - especially this late in production.

Madden had a very popular mode where you could take the role of the Houston Texans franchise and build them as an expansion team the year before they actually entered the NFL. Live could do the same thing as part of Dynasty mode.
You'd take over the Bobcats, have an expansion draft, the picks and the cap room to make your team. It would be a great way to satisfy fans who want to build their own team, but who don't like re-drafting the league because they want to feel like they're competing in the real NBA.

I really like that idea, that would be really fun, but i don't think it will happen. would be nice though.

Hopefully this years' edition would bring back the custom teams and when you enter that team in the Dynasty mode, you could have a fantasy draft, an expansion draft or you start the season with no players and before your first game you must sign at least 8 players from the free agency. This is something i would want to be implemented in the game.

That would be a pretty cool feature, but I doubt it will be in NBA Live 2004. Perhaps if the Bobcats were a little further along in "creation", it might have been in the game.

What's wrong with the name, New Orleans Hornets? It sounds better than the New Orleans Cajuns....!!

Nothing's wrong with the name New Orleans Hornets. But the new franchise in Charlotte will be called the Bobcats.
