The Dynasty Is On!

Lets start with the season settings.

Image

With 2.02 million to spend, I hired the following coaches.

Image

I could care less about the Scout and Trainer, because my main goal is to get these NLSC-ers to become Freestyle Superstars.

Also the team is very cheap and can sign many players.

Image

With that, here is the lineup.

C Laxation
PF Nick
SF zmac
SG Mafia
PG Jing
6 Fitzy
7 Jugs
8 Mark
9 killer
10 Drex
11 Sit
12 cwebb

In more news, Ivan "Anthony15" Shchipansky signed with the Atlanta Hawks. He plans to blend in with a young team, that desperately needs a PG. Also, the Clippers have released Boniface N'Dong, which frees them up to sign an NLSC player.

Image

INJURIES

D. Gooden-10/28-5 weeks
C. Bell-10/30-3 weeks
M. Rose-11/3-2 weeks
C. Arroyo-11/5-9 weeks

Keeping track of injuries will be important as NLSC-ers that are on the FA market will be randomly assigned to teams that have injuries.

Next Recap includes opening night (vs. Lakers) and progress on how Anthony15 and the 4 other recent FA's and how they have done with their respective teams.

rofl Sit is 11th man. I'd rather be a top 8 on another team than 11 or 12 on the NLSC roster :P

Man, I'm wondering if Charlotte will play your Hawks this season

Anything can change. If someone else underperforms Sit may move up in the roster

Being 6'10" guarantees playing time at C on this team

You might move up if you do well in garbage minutes. Check the main post to see who gets what jersey number

Game Recap
The new-look Bobcats prepare to open their season tonight. They will have to play tough defense to stop Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.

The Lakers came in strong, as they posted an 8-0 run in the middle of the first. Mark Moore then came off the bench to hit a 3, and Charlotte was right back in it. But Kobe Bryant dominated the first quarter with 14 points, and the Lakers were up 24-18.

The Lakers then broke out, going up by as many as 13 in the 4th. Kobe Bryant had 53 points, Kwame Brown grabbed 20 rebounds, and Smush Parker dished out 8 assists. But LA was most effective at offensive rebounding, where they had 26 compared to the Bobcats 14. The game also was a very ugly shooting game (Lakers 0-25 3s, Bobcats 3-26) The final score - LA Lakers 101, Charlotte 95.
