Dirk sucks, wait till the 2nd round when he has to face the spurs. Thats when he will get frustrated and shoot clanks and then yell at his teammates because he cant get it done when it matters.
This sig was too offensive for the kids.

Nash has the "passing" that all of a sudden made him the best passer in the league (last time i checked Jason Kidd is still playing) and Shaq i guess still has his reputation, and he does offer a dunk here & there but not so much.

Kidd doesnt have enough hair to look majestic enough blowing through the wind like Nash. I guess thats the difference.

But Iverson has that sheer explosiveness on the offensive end, plus the break ankles reputation which put him above nash on the highlight rating. Amare, Dwight Howard, hell even Chris Webber have better dunks than shaq these days.

Dwight has really good dunk however its still painful seeing him do anything other than that on offense. Man, I cant imagine what this guy will be like 5 years from now.

More opportunities does not = shoot a better %. Most of the time, more opportunities to shoot = shoot a worse %.

Then just let him speak for all he want, no need to add on to the arguement. This arguement can go on for long.

Matthew wrote:Nash still has marion, who is far and away better than another Kobe has on his team.

Like i said, dont look at that he still has marion. Before nash arrived suns has marion and amare. Marion was an all star that year too. And what do you get? A 20+ win team. The suns' success doesnt really because of marion, is nash. That is a fact.

And nash's highlight, does not comes from himself, is when he throw the ball for an alley.

If the mvp looks at whether a player is marketable, why not make it Most Marketable Player or Most Popular Player awards.

This is the dodgiest shit ever, Nash does not deserve this award half as much as he did last year, and he barely deserved it last year.
-Had another potential MVP candidate in Marion.
-Cant play D for his life.
-What kingtrobe's article says on Kobe meeting the two criterias.

Nash looks like a pedophile.

I'm getting sick to death of the "he makes his teammates better" argument... I'm yet to come across anyone who can back that up properly. They say things like "well Raja Bell is averaging 2ppg more with Nash in 5mpg more"... who gives a shit? Does Nash take their jump shots for them? Does he rebound? Does he pick them up and put them in the right place on the floor? Does he throw down Amare's dunks?

Everyone who says Nash is only good because of "the system" is a damn hypocrite. What about Kobe Bryant? He's in a system that allows him to put up 30 shots a game. Does that/should that take away from the AWESOME scorer he is? NO! So why should the system Nash is in take away from the passer and playmaker he is? It shouldn't. That's just a stupid argument brought up by people who disagree with the decision.

Even if it didn't take away from the passer and playmaker Nash is, he still wouldn't be the best in the league.

More opportunities does not = shoot a better %. Most of the time, more opportunities to shoot = shoot a worse %.

So what does that prove? Is Nash hitting their shots for them? If the ball goes in the hoop it's because the guy shooting made the shot, it's not because of Nash. He can find as many open guys as possible but if they don't hit the shot it means nothing, and he doesn't get his assist. If anything Nash's teammates "make him better".

The situation with Nash going to Phoenix is similar to Sheed going to Detroit. The pieces were already there and they just needed that last guy to get over the hill.

I actually thought his bid was stronger this year compared to last season, though he's tapered off in the second half of the regular season and I wouldn't call him a far and away favourite. Surely there won't be a threepeat next year.

Not in a fast tempo game. Its alot easier to score of fast breaks than in slow it down, grind it out against a set half court defense.

But thats all Nash fans hang their hat on. Oh he makes his teamates better. But so did stockton. Did stockton deserve mvp's over jordan? If Nash was so great, how come did the mavericks become contenders again once he left?

Marion wasn't an all star in 2004.

No one has said kobe deserves the mvp becuase he's marketable? lol.

If that's the case, then passing PG should never wins mvp.

Ok, fine......

Guys, let meet tonight and rob magic's mvp award, he doesnt deserve it.

Well i was suggesting no point arguing since none of us can change anything.

Then when i said argue for all you want, is i know there are people who are not happy with the result and trying to make some noise. I cant point a gun at you right? So you have a choice of not listening to my suggestion (let's not argue) and continue for all you want.

Top my point if you can, a new user doesnt mean anything about stupidity. A mod can reach that level too when he cannot believe and agree with facts.
