How's that funny? Everyone knows it was a foul...we can tell from the bump on Kobe's head.

He'll come out, score 40+, and the Lakers will lose. What's new?

Lebron will be up there with Magic, Bird, MJ or Wilt one of the greatest legend when he retired.

my prediction: lakers can kiss 2nd round playoff goodbye and start training for 06-07 season.

What a waste of a first post.

Probably not, since his teammates are all playing worse then they used to.

well anytime you get a dominating player your teammates are going to do less than they did on their own. Put Gilbert Arenas on Philly, and his as well as AI's stats will drop. Only players like Nash who aren't really after individual things like LBJ and Kobe seem to be can make their teammates get better stats.

It's not just the new guys they have. The large majority of their team has dropped from last season. Kobe, who apparentely doesn't make his teammates better either, hasn't seen anywhere near the same drop with his teammates. I don't blame LeBron, it just further supports the view that "he makes other guys better" is the most overused worn out cliche in sports at the moment.

not very many players make teammates better, that's for sure.

Game is quite interesting so far. Kobe is on a triple double pace. I really like the attitude the team came out with today, seems like they are going out and playing their style of ball. Lets see how this game turns out.

EDIT: Kwame looks like an offensive powerhouse.

Lakers up 9 with 3:13 left :P

Phil Jackson should be COY......he's actually turned Kwame Brown from a waste of space to a decent player, he's actually a good defender now (shitty @beg of season). Now he's made some great adjustments in this series so far.

I like the whole "let Nash score" thing....worked well for other teams.

The defense did very nicely. Phoenix bench = 4 points

edit: the win will be ours (the lakers)!

I think its safe to say they won this one.

*Lamar of course makes a retardo play at end of game*....oh well.

I'm pretty happy about the split. LA with homecourt and momentum going into LA. Hopefully we get the same homecourt calls Phoenix have been getting.

Nice balance all around.

Difference of course is Kobe hitting shots he is supposed to make.

Nash gets pissed at Vujacic, everyone is hustling, Nash gets owned by Kobe, Kobe get's a double-double, and the Lakers win. Can't wait for the next game.

Nash had 29, 9, and 7...real ownage

Anywho, awesome game played by the Lakers. Extremely disappointing outing by everyone except Nash and Bell...Marion, Barbosa, and Diaw were nowhere to be found and the other players were inconsistent as well.

Off to LA we go!

Nash can put all the numbers up he wants, but he doesnt make his teamates better.

Where have I heard that arguement before?.

Nice ratio. 9 assts and 6 TOs for the great pg. Plus unnecessarily trying to punk Sasha, surely a great performance by the "MVP".

I hope everyone realizes in this series what a bad defnder Sasha is. He's always reaching & never moves his feet... everytime someone drives on him they get slapped on the arm or wrist.

And I won't whine about the rest of the game, I have done that enough already... defending myself against every one of my friends... I hate living in L.A.
